When you hover over certain navigation tabs, you will now see a drop down menu with additional selections visible at a glance. The drop down menu will show the most commonly used categories to make it faster to access those selections. Other menu bar changes include: Clicking on the search tab itself or the “More…” link located at the bottom of the search drop down will direct you to the search menu page displaying all search categories. Hovering over a category that contains a horizontal arrow will initiate a secondary fly out navigation window. Secondary search navigation expands on hover Click more to access additional search options Matrix has added an icon denoting a tab that re-directs to an external site, e.g.: The Logout top menu tab has been removed and replaced with a Logout link located next to the Welcome message in the upper right hand corner of the window. www.crmls.org • Toll Free: 800-925-1525 • Phone: 909-859-2040 [3] Introduction to MATRIX 6.0 INTERACTIVE MAP SEARCH Superior versatility and integration in mapping is now incorporated into Matrix 6.0. The new interactive map search provides dynamic and fully interactive map capabilities, without losing any existing functionality. The addition of new tabs on the map now allows you to quickly and easily toggle between the search form, results display, and the fully interactive map search. Tabs will allow you to quickly and easily navigate between criteria, map, and results Clicking on a map pin will generate a pop-up with summary listing information To complement increased map functionality, the map menu bar has been revised and improved to include a robust selection of tools to maximize efficiency when working with the map. All, None, All, None, and Page allows you to select or unselect properties in your search results Select to draw a search area on the map using one of these shapes Clicking the multi-select icon allows you to click and drag to select all listings within a rectangular area Re-center map Shows map layers Clicking the single select icon toggles the map into/from selection mode. When enabled, a click on any map pin immediately selects that listing www.crmls.org • Toll Free: 800-925-1525 • Phone: 909-859-2040 [4] Introduction to MATRIX 6.0 Please note: The “Locate Address” mapping functionality has been moved. It can now be found in the “Jump To” drop down menu. The default icon will allow you to customize your starting map view. Multiple listings at the same location are grouped with a numbered pin, which denotes the number of listings at that location. Matrix determines that listings are at the same location when their latitude and longitude values are within 10 feet of each other. The interactive map search continues to support multiple search areas by using the drawing tools (shapes) to select the area(s) you are interested in. In addition, the shapes can now be resized directly on the map without having to delete and redraw the search area. www.crmls.org • Toll Free: 800-925-1525 • Phone: 909-859-2040 [5] Introduction to MATRIX 6.0 TASK DRIVEN BUTTON BAR Matrix 6.0 features a new consolidated task driven button bar. Page navigation links have been moved to the right side of the page. 1) Actions - this default button view contains all primary actions you will perform with results. 2) Refine - this button view allows you to refine the search results. 3) Save - this button view provides access to creating all the “Save” features. 4) Carts – this button view provides access to all cart actions. www.crmls.org • Toll Free: 800-925-1525 • Phone: 909-859-2040 [6] Introduction to MATRIX 6.0 IMPROVED PRINTING SUPPORT Significant effort has been undertaken in Matrix 6.0 to deliver greater flexibility and a better result when printing listing results. Multiple reports may be printed at once, including custom displays, along with a new added feature of being able to add an agent header & footer to each page. All PDF report generation functionality has been consolidated into the print button. After clicking the Print button, you will be presented with a selection of reports to choose from. Additionally, you will have the option of emailing a PDF report directly from this screen, previewing your file, or printing. In addition to the traditional reports, the Primary Reports tab will contain any custom displays you’ve created, while the Additional Reports tab will contain the Quick and Statistical CMA report. Note: Google Chrome users will be unable to print the agent header/footer on every page as Chrome is inconsistent with this command. www.crmls.org • Toll Free: 800-925-1525 • Phone: 909-859-2040 [7] Introduction to MATRIX 6.0 ENHANCED PHOTO VIEWER The photo viewer has been modernized in Matrix 6.0. In Matrix 6.0, changing a chart title can be completed inline without leaving the Customize tab. Click Edit to update the Preset name In addition, Stats will now return the exact number of results from which the statistic was calculated when this information is readily available. When the count is unable to generate, Matrix stats will continue to show the approximate number of results considered in the statistical calculation. www.crmls.org • Toll Free: 800-925-1525 • Phone: 909-859-2040 [10] Introduction to MATRIX 6.0 MISCELLANEOUS Emailed PDF’s are deleted one day after they expire; default expiration = 30 days When looking at a listing in full page mode, you can now page through to the next listing by using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
