Introduction to HyppMe 1.1 About HyppMe Mobile Apps HyppMe Mobile Apps is a mobile application that allows users to benefit from Free Instant Messaging (IM) and voice call via HyppMe to HyppMe, provided by Telekom Malaysia (TM) Berhad. Irrespective of one’s local mobile network, users can stay connected to friends and family from anywhere in the world via WiFi & data connection. Once you've installed and activate the app, you are ready to start messaging or make calls. Subscribe to HyppMe services and make calls to friends and family on HyppMe via TM WiFi. This guide presents easy steps on how to use HyppMe Mobile app for iOS Smart phones. 1.2 System Requirements In order to use HyppMe apps, you will need: Apple iPhone with iOS v6.x firmware(or above) Internet connection (3G, LTE or WiFi) and GSM network on your smart phone. 3 1.3 At A Glance 4 2. Getting Started 2.1 Installing HyppMe a. Go to Apple App Store on your Smartphone and search for HyppMe from the Search Tab. b. Click on HyppMe to view application details page. c. On the HyppMe detail page, click on “FREE” button to change to “INSTALL” button. d. Click on “INSTALL” to commence installation of the HyppMe app. e. Click “ACCEPT” and the apps will be installed automatically to your phone. The completed download HyppMe Icon 5 2.2 Activation of HyppMe a. Launch HyppMe App. b. Click Accept Button on the Terms and Condition page. c. Enter your Malaysian mobile phone number to activate HyppMe services. d. Click Register Button. 6 e. HyppMe server will send your activation code via SMS to your phone. f. Enter the Activation Code from phone mobile SMS and click Activate. g. Once activated, you will be presented with HyppMe contact page. 7 2.3 Contact Page The contact page will display the HyppMe contact list. The status icon will display in three types: you or your friends are online you or your friends are not online. your friends have not install or activate the service 8 3. Instant Messaging (IM) 3.1 Chatting with HyppMe contacts via IM a. Click on the Contacts Tab and select the contact you wish to chat with. b. Click on Chat button a. Enter your message and press Send button. 9 3.2 Using Emoji, Emoticons and Stickers in IM a. Select the icon. b. There are three tabs for Emoji, Sticker and Emoticons c. Scroll to find your preferred image, click the image and the selected Emoji/Sticker will be automatically send to your current chat partner 10 3.3 Sending Photo, Audio and Video using IM a. b. Select Icon to choose the display menu. The photo, audio or video will be automatically send to your current chat partner. 11 4 Making Voice Calls Once you have completed the subscription processes, you're ready to make a call. You can call Existing Contacts list By Entering Contact Number from Call Tab Recent Calls list 4.1 Call using the Contacts list The HyppMe apps allow you to call from: Added HyppMe contact list Existing contacts in your phonebook a. Select the contact b. Press Call button to initiate call. 12 4.2 Invite contact from the phonebook a. b. Select the Contact Tab and click on the “All” button to view the contacts in your phonebook. All contact list will appear including phone contact number. Search and select the phone number of the contact you wish to call. If the contact number is not in HyppMe list then click on Invite button. *Invitational SMS subject to celco SMS rate. c. The intended party will receive SMS from HyppMe. 13 4.3 Call from Recent List a. Click on Call Tab to view call log including All calls out, calls received and missed calls. b. When you miss an incoming call, the HyppMe will indicate a missed call notification on your phone screen. Click on “OK” to clear the screen. 4.4 Delete Call log list a. Click Clear button to delete call log list 4.5 Adding new contacts a. To add new contact user must add the contact number in their phone’s phone book followed by Sync HyppMe Contacts with phone’s contact. 14 4.6 Sync Contact’s with phone’s contacts a. Select on setting tab then choose on Sync Contact button. b. Press on Sync Contacts button to synchronise contact with phone contact list. 15 5 Managing HyppMe Account Settings 5.1 Change Status a. Click on Setting Tab to access Setting Page. b. Select Profile from the settings menu c. Click at the icon to change profile name and status message. d. If you wish to change your profile photo, press Take photo button to take new photo or press choose photo button to choose photo from phone gallery. 16 5.2 Check account Balance a. Click on Setting Tab to access Setting Page. b. Select Profile from the settings menu c. Select Current Balance from Profile page d. Your balance will be displayed on the page. 5.3 Account Reload a. Click on Setting Tab to access Setting Page. b. Select Profile from the settings menu c. Select Reload from Profile page d. Select amount to reload e. Click Next button to proceed and reload details will display. 17 f. Select Confirm button to proceed the reload. g. Proceed to make online mobile transaction using your credit card. You will be directed to TM payment gateway page (VeriSign certified). 18 . h. Payment details will be display and your new balance will be updated. 19 5.4 View Usage a. Click on Setting Tab to access Setting Page. b. Select Profile from the settings menu c. Select View usage from Profile page d. Your usage will be displayed on the page. 5.5 Selfcare Portal a. Click on Setting Tab to access Setting Page. b. Select Profile from the settings menu c. Select Selfcare Portal from Profile page d. Selfcare Portal information will be displayed on the page. Use phone number and HyppMe Code to register at www.tm.com.my. 20 5.6 Deactivate Account a. b. Select Deactivate Account menu from the setting page Enter your mobile number then click Next button. 5.7 Reconnection Account a. In order to reconnect, user needs to click on HyppMe icon at their phone menu tray. b. Press Accept on HyppMe Terms and Conditions c. Enter mobile phone number and press “Continue”. Activation will be sent to user mobile by SMS. d. User can enjoy HyppMe services. 21 22
