From ŁÓDŹ to MAGIS 2016

These are the hints how to get from different places in Poland to Łódź. Please note that in
the cities in Poland we recommended to use website: www.jakdojade.pl – is available in English.

From ŁÓDŹ to MAGIS 2016
1. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: ŁÓDŹ WIDZEW RAILWAY STATION → MAGIS 2016

Go to bus stop “Służbowa/Dworzec Łódź-Widzew” (the one closer to Służbowa street,
about 90 m in straight line from main entrance) and take bus no. 85 (towards Dworzec
PKS Północny). Do not forget to validate the ticket.

Get off at bus stop “Kopcińskiego/Rondo Solidarności” (12 stops), walk along the street
about 90 m in N direction, turn left, cross the street towards church and then, crossing
3 zebra crossings in NW direction (about 50 m) go to tram stop “Pomorska/Rondo
Solidarności”.

Take tram no. 15, 15A or 43 (towards Telefoniczna) and get off at tram stop
“Pomorska/Lumumby” (3 stops). If you bought 2 single-fare tickets, do not forget to
validate the second one in tram.

Turn right, cross the street and you are on Lumumbowo.
2. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: ŁÓDŹ KALISKA RAILWAY STATION → MAGIS 2016

Go to tram stop “Bandurskiego/Dworzec Łódź-Kaliska” (about 200 m in S direction in
straight line from main entrance). Use footbridge above the street or underground hall,
turning second exit left. Take tram no. 10 (towards Olechów). Do not forget to validate
the ticket.

Get off at tram stop “Piłsudskiego/szpital im. Korczaka” (7 stops), turn right, cross the
street heading black building, turn left and cross the street once again going to tram
stop “Kopcińskiego/szpital im. Korczaka”.

Take tram no. Z13 (towards Stoki) and get off at tram stop “Pomorska/Konstytucyjna”
(5 stops). If you bought 2 single-fare tickets, do not forget to validate the second one.

Cross the street on the nearest zebra-crossing, turn left and walk about 200 m to
Lumumby street. Then, turn right and you are on Lumumbowo.
3. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: ŁÓDŹ KALISKA BUS STATION → MAGIS 2016

Cross car park next to Bus Station and go to tram stop “Włókniarzy/Łódź Kaliska
estakada” (about 100 m in E direction, under the bridge) and take tram no. 8 (towards
Lodowa). Do not forget to validate the ticket.

Get off at tram stop “Piłsudskiego/szpital im. Korczaka” (8 stops), turn right, cross the
street heading black building, turn left and cross the street once again going to tram
stop “Kopcińskiego/szpital im. Korczaka”.

Take tram no. Z13 (towards Stoki) and get off at tram stop “Pomorska/Konstytucyjna”
(5 stops). If you bought 2 single-fare tickets, do not forget to validate the second one.

Cross the street on the nearest zebra-crossing, turn left and walk about 200 m to
Lumumby street. Then, turn right and you are on Lumumbowo.
4. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: ŁÓDŹ LUBLINEK AIPORT → MAGIS 2016





Go to bus stop “Lotnisko Terminal Pasażerski” (in front of main entrance). Take bus no. 65 (towards
Świtezianki). Do not forget to validate the ticket.
Get off at bus stop “Włókniarzy /Mickiewicza” (11th stop) close to Łódź Kaliska Train Station. Next
to bus stop there is tram stop with THE SAME NAME (the one closer to you).
Make sure the tram is going IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS THE BUS!
Take tram no. 12 (towards Telefoniczna or Stoki) and get off at tram stop “Pomorska/Lumumby”
(16th stop). If you bought 2 single­fare tickets, do not forget to validate the second one in tram.
Cross the street and you are on Lumumbowo. (Lumumby st)

5. TAXI

This mean of transport is recommended particularly while travelling from
the airport.

If you decide to go by taxi, remember that taxi fare will be MUCH
HIGHER than public transport fare.

Taxis are easily available, usually they park nearby main entrance of
railway station or airport. If there is no taxi, we recommend you to call:
