Toe, who serves as the orchestra’s conductor (Justin Dye, Assistant Conductor). The orchestra, in its first year, did not have a choir and was made up of community members and college students that wanted to make music. It was founded to create a platform for young conductors to have an orchestra to conduct, young composers to have their works played, and amateur musicians to have an avenue to play orchestral music. This year the orchestra is pleased to announce the creation of a chorus in appointment of two new conductors: Raylena Dah lheimer, Assistant Conductor and Darius J. McBride, Chorus Master. Thank you for your consideration, and I hope to see you there! Darius J. McBride (585) 284- 4611 •dmcbride1@malone.edu Stop by the Bookstore for a Pantastic Sale! Take heed to yourselves; if your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him; and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, and says, 'I repent,' you must forgive him." The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!" And the Lord said, "If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this sycamine tree, 'Be rooted up, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you. - Luke 17:3-6 (RSV) The Malone University Office of Spiritual Formation is hosting the Alternative Gift Market Tuesday, December 4th: 9 am -8 pm Stewart Room in the Barn. Gifts purchased at the Market (such as solar cookers, books, trees, peace training etc.) are purchased in honor of someone, with the gift itself going to the one who needs it. The Alternative Gift Market is not trying to compete with retail stores. It’s meant to be a meaningful gift-giving option in the Christmas season. For example, you may buy a goat in honor of your Uncle Ned. Uncle Ned will then receive a Christmas card explaining that his gift will be used to give a goat to a family in Haiti. Uncle Ned doesn’t get stuck with another silk tie he doesn’t need, and the family in Haiti has goat’s milk to sell for income and to give them protein. http://alternativegifts.org/ !
