PROSPECTUS SIA SNOW SHOW JANUARY 27 - 30, 2011 COLORADO CONVENTION CENTER, DENVER, COLORADO ON-SNOW DEMO/FREE RIDE FEST JAN. 31 & FEB. 1, 2011 WINTER PARK RESORT/DEVIL’S THUMB RANCH, COLORADO siasnowshow.com 1 O M E D W O N S OND N A W O H SIA SNOW S For more than 50 years, SnowSports Industries America (SIA), the industry’s non-profit, member-owned trade association, has been working with our members to create the SIA Snow Show, a one-of-a-kind selling and networking opportunity. With more than 18,000 attendees all looking for the latest innovations and trends, the Snow Show and the 2010 addition of the national On-Snow Demo are the best way for large and small brands to connect with the most buyers, get the most exposure and sell the most product possible—all in six days. We are proud to host the Snow Show, but we know that the logistical, marketing and organizational support we provide is secondary to what the industry brings to the Show. Your products, innovations and passion for this business are the reasons buyers attend the Show each year. Get Visibility For Your Products Buyers come to the Snow Show to see the latest product and trends. Each has limited rack and floor space and the need to maintain a competitive advantage from the shop down the street. Help them maximize their spaces by introducing them to the product innovations consumers will be looking for. Buyers aren’t the only ones who will see your product at the Snow Show. Exhibiting at the Show means increasing the opportunity to have journalists—national and regional media/press—tell your story and highlight your products to consumers. Having more than 250 media outlets and 800 press members in attendance in 2010 generated more than 800 media hits and 4,000 blog hits. Get Buyers on Your Product at the On-Snow The Show’s new home in Denver gives you an opportunity to sell your product in a way that, until now, was impossible. For the two days following the Show, we’ll take the industry from Show to Snow as Winter Park Resort and Devil’s Thumb Ranch become the industry’s testing and playground. Give buyers all the details about your products with presentations at the Show, then close the sale at the national On-Snow Demo. In 2010, 180 brands participated, 1,100 buyers attended, and as much fun as everyone had, plenty of work got accomplished too. From free lift tickets, breakfasts, lunches, happy hours and entertainment to the Uphill/Downhill Challenge and more, the On-Snow Demo is selling at its finest. siasnowshow.com 2 OW N S A I S E H s T E K A M T A H W OW H S R U O Y SHOW MEMBERSHIP. Reps “The Show in Denver was a great venue and it felt fresh. There were a ton of great events/parties and plenty of places to grab dinner in walking distance.” Brad Decker, Decker & Associates, Nordica, Tecnica, Blizzard, Never Summer, Helly Hansen “The SIA Show is the most important Show for me because I can meet with all of my dealers. It is the only show you can go to where supplier management, product designers and other specialist are available for customers to answer all their questions and hear their needs first hand. ” Tom Blair, Atomic, Descente, Ripzone, Leki, Neve, Zero, and Zeal MEDIA “On the most concrete level, we’ll probably be running a couple of things I saw at the show in print, and I wouldn’t have been aware of them if I hadn’t been out there.” JERRY BEILSON, Deputy Editor, Popular Mechanics “SIA is an essential hub of the snow sports industry. From the Snow Show being THE place to catch up with industry movers and shakers, check out new products, and test them on snow, to its in-depth analysis of sales and market trends, SIA is setting the standard for a trade organization and is a key partner for TransWorld Business. Mike Lewis, Managing Editor at TransWorld Business ” Exhibitors “Better restaurants, better oxygen and more importantly better business. The fact that we were at Winter Park getting ” our shred on after the trade show made me go home feeling like I “HADN’T” been at a trade show. I loved Coloradical! Johan Malkoski, Sales Manager, C3 Worldwide “As a first time exhibitor, we were thrilled with the SIA Snow Show in Denver. The Show floor was well planned, spacious, and easy to navigate. The exposure, contacts, and business we received from the Show were priceless. Burgess Custom will look forward to participating in the SIA Snow Show for many years to come! ” Sara Deutsch, Owner and Designer, Burgess Custom Buyers “The SIA Show in Denver and the Demo was the best buying experience I’ve had in years. Companies came to Denver prepared. I had great meetings with the product managers at the Show and learned about all the great new products for next year. What made the difference was the Demo was completely connected to the Show! ” Spike Clayton, Ski Rack, Burlington, VT “The Snow Show has provided a great venue to meet with all of our important suppliers and their management in one location.
