Whether you’re entering “water world” or visiting a day in Paris, you’ll love the creative activities. Conferencing provides a forum for helping youth understand the profound effect their behavior has on so many people while holding them accountable for their criminal actions. During the conference, participants develop a reparation agreement stating how the offending youth will repair the harm done. Accountability and healing vs. punishment and anger are the cornerstones to this restorative approach to juvenile crime. Conferencing is also an effective school disciplinary tool which can be used to address issues such as bullying, harassment and truancy. 5 5 SPORTS OFFICIALS CLINICS CATHOLIC CHARITIES Each year, the Clinton County Youth Bureau recruits, trains, certifies and employs Sports Officials for County Baseball, Softball, Soccer & Basketball Programs.
