Ementa
Estudo das principais manifestações em prosa e verso da literatura inglesa no decorrer da Idade Média,
Renascimento e nos séculos XVII e XVIII.
Objetivos
Levar o aluno de Letras/Habilitação Inglês a:
a) Manusear antologias poéticas e textos em prosa na língua inglesa
b) Perceber os diferentes estilos e conhecer as principais manifestações poéticas em língua
inglesa desde a Idade Média até o século XVIII.
c) Fazer uma leitura crítica dos textos, prosa e poesia, trabalhados no curso.
d) Compreender o surgimento do romance inglês.
