Separate sealed Bids for Forest City Regional School shall be
received by Forest City Regional
School District, until 3:30 p.m.,
prevailing local time, April 21,
2016. Bids shall be received at
Main Office of High School.
Bids will be publicly opened
and read aloud immediately after specified closing time, at 3:30
p.m.

2016 at 3:00 p.m.

Jermyn
Lois R. Carite, 77, Jermyn,
died Saturday, April 2, 2016,
in the Hospice of the Sacred
Heart, Dunmore. Her husband
was the late Carmel Carite.
Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor Siebold Harvey, she was a
member of the Primitive Methodist Church, Jermyn.
Surviving are four daughters, Debbie Kielar, Carbondale; Judy Graham, Vandling;
Joyce Short, Forest City; and
Corina Carite, Jermyn; three
sons, John Wysocki, Carbondale; Walter Carite, Jermyn;
and Brian Carite, Blakely; one
brother, Robert Harvey, Archbald; 13 grandchildren; several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be

Vincent E. Miszler, 92, of
Honesdale, died on Friday,
April 1, 2016, at the VNA
Hospice Inpatient Unit at
Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. He
was preceded in death by
his wife, the former Betty
Watson.
Born on June 19, 1923, in
Berlin Twp., he was the son
of the late Charles and Wilhelmina Wiest Miszler.
Surviving are two sons,
Tom Miszler and wife, Pamela; and Vince, all of
Honesdale; two daughters,
Tanya Gibbons of Clifford
Twp.; and Debbie Johannes
of Honesdale.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated Friday at
St. Mary Magdalen Church,
Honesdale, at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors
will follow in Indian Orchard Cemetery. Friends
may visit the Hessling Funeral Home Inc., 428 Main
St., Honesdale, on Thursday
from 5 to 7 p.m. All visitors
are asked to use the Fifth
Street entrance.

Rocklin, CA
Donald R. Motsko, Jr., 54,
of Rocklin, CA, died Tuesday,
March 22nd at home. He was
preceded in death by his wife,
Jean Motsko.
Born in Washington, D.C., he
was the son of Carole McDonnell Motsko, Ararat, and the late
Atty. Donald Motsko, Sr., he was
a member of the Catholic faith.
He was a graduate of Notre
Dame High School, West Haven, CT, and Syracuse University. While attending college, he
was employed during the summer by Tully Drilling Company,
Poyntelle. He was currently employed by Nor-Cal Pump and
Well Drilling, Yuba City, CA.
Also surviving are a brother:
Thomas Motsko and wife Shelley, Southwick, MA; and 2 nieces:
Jennifer and Ellen Motsko.
The funeral was Tuesday,
April 5 with Mass of Christian
Burial in Saint James Church,
Pleasant Mount.
Interment,
Saint James Cemetery, Pleasant
Mount. Arrangements by the

Leona M. Machiesky, 84, of
RR Forest City, died Saturday,
April 2, 2016, at home.
Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Charles and Edith
Baldwin McAndrew, she was
a member of Trinity Episcopal
Church, Carbondale. She was a
graduate of Benjamin Franklin
High School, Carbondale. Before
retirement, she was employed as
a seamstress for the former P&A
Dress Factory, Carbondale. She
was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers
Union. She was a loving mother
and grandmother who will always be missed.
Surviving are two daughters,
Edie Dobitsch and husband,
Jules; and Deborah Virbitsky
and husband, Ken; all of Clifford Twp.; two sons, Robert
Machiesky and wife, Mary
Frances, Carbondale Twp.; and
Trevor Sheare and wife, Jaki,
Clifford Twp.; 14 grandchildren,
Jules Dobitsch and wife, Jennifer; Francis Dobitsch, Dennis
Dobitsch, M.D.; Teresa, Maria
and Katrina Virbitsky, Sean and
Tara Sheare, Eileen Saam and
husband, Kevin; Kristen Sheare,
Jamie Machiesky and wife, Lee
Ann; Rosalie Hilling and husband, David; Robert Machiesky
and wife, Stephanie; David
Machiesky and wife, Ashley;
and Jonathan Machiesky and
wife, Vanessa; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and
nephews.
She was also preceded in
death by a grandson, Brian
Sheare; three brothers, Robert, Joseph and Francis “Nick”
McAndrew; and a sister, Eileen
Carlo.
The funeral was held April
5 in Trinity Episcopal Church,
Carbondale. Spring interment,
