President’s Message:
Wow, we had 42 people at the last meeting and there was plenty of good
BBQ.
Congrats to the car of the month winner, Thurman Holt, for his
59 Chevy Apache P/U painted by our club member Randal Cantwell.
Next month we will meet at the Taylor Seafood and Steak
House (512-352-5188). We've been there before but we will all
meet at the El Patron parking lot in Georgetown at noon to
leave by 12:15 for the restaurant/meeting. Those of you that
don't want to tour with us can meet us there. The co-pay will be $6 and
menu items will be limited to $7.99 which comes out to approx. $12
with drink, tax and tip. Lets try to get more than 42 people.
Jim Curl will have a trail marked with bread crumbs for us to follow.
Come to the meeting prepared to tell us about the car shows you attended since the last meeting so we can share the experiences.
Billy
DO NOT FORGET TO CALL OR E-MAIL RUTH.

AACC Meeting Minutes
March 14th 2010 Meeting
President Billy Hutson opened the meeting asking if there were any new
members or guests. There were none, but we had 42 people present.
The minutes as published by Mary Lou Smith in Bob Ross’ absence were
approved by a motion by Jim Coffman and seconded by Gary Warmink.
The motion to accept the minutes was passed.
Ruth Fredericksen gave the Treasurers report and it was accepted as
read.
Steve Koehn gave the Pate report with 97 members for the Pate count.
Steve also handed out the schedule for Pate workers and worker passes
and RV passes.
There was no membership report as we do not have a membership
chair. However if someone would like to volunteer, the club would be
grateful.
The Wellness report was given by Bob Ross – Other than a small scare
about Karen Ross last month with kidney problems, there were no other
sickness reported to Karen.
The Car of the Month was presented to Thurman Holt for his 1959 Chevrolet Pick-up. See his story elsewhere in the newsletter.
Several upcoming Car shows were reported: Briggs Car Show in April;
The Burnet Blue Bonnet Show on April 10th; The Old Car Show in Leander May 20th; Georgetown Old Car Club Show in Sun City, May 1st; and
an IBM Car Show Thursday May 13th from 8 am to 2pm.
Door prizes were awarded to Billy House, Pat Martin, Jon Aronson and
Gary Smith.
The meeting was adjourned by a motion by Bob Ross and seconded by
Jim Curl.
