• Simulate all phases and position of actual state government
Diabetes Prevention Program
16 one‐hour sessions
Topics include: nutrition, getting started with physical activity, overcoming stress, staying motivated, and more.
Pioneering Healthy Communities
• Launched nationally in 2004. Statewide in 2009
• Collaborative engagement with various community leaders
• Engage public and private sectors in changing public policies and the physical environment to improve mental and physical health

Ohio Active Transportation & Safety Workshops
• regional workshops will focus on new state transportation guidance, local and regional policy implementation, collaboration, development, challenges, resources, and community discussion and planning time to begin active transportation policy in their community.
On the Hill
• Safe Streets Act S2004/HR2468 encourages safer streets through policy adoption at the state and regional‐levels
• Federal legislation will ensure consistency and flexibility in the processes and standards that direct road‐building at all levels of governance.
