KIDS FUN RUN AND FUN WALK
Race day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The 5K Run begins at 10 a.m. and is $16 if postmarked by
October 1st. $20 on race day. The Nature Trail Fun Walk and Kids Fun Run begin at 10:15 a.m. and are $10
each.
There will be prizes for the top three in these age categories (Male and Female): 12 and under, 13-19, 20
-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. All pre-registered entrants will be given a short-sleeve t-shirt.

KIDS & TEENS
TENNIS LESSONS
Pee Wee (ages 5-6) lessons will introduce children to tennis related skills such as eye
hand coordination, tracking, and balance. Emphasis will be on fun and success.
Beginner (ages 7-9 or 10-13) lessons are for those with limited tennis experience. Class
will provide a good foundation while emphasizing proper stroke mechanics and basic
footwork. Again, emphasis will be on fun and success.
Advanced Beginners (ages 7-9 or 10-13) lessons are for students who have mastered
the beginner level class. Emphasis is on rallying & serving from the baseline. The goal is
to play "real" tennis and to start playing on a consistent basis.

LITTLE KICKS SOCCER
Children learn best through positive modeling, and when playing sports the same is
true. Our instructors will always demonstrate kindness, consistency, patience, and
acceptance. What makes us different? Our classes not only teach basic soccer skills and
techniques, they also teach the importance of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and
positive thinking. We know that positive reinforcement leads to success. We reward the
children with our one of a kind PATCH program. These patches represent a variety of
outstanding character qualities which are important not only in

LEARN, BUILD & PLAY WITH LEGO® BRICKS
A hands-on class where students build machines, buildings, vehicles and other structures
out of LEGO® Bricks, using one-of-a-kind model
plans. Participants will build something new
every class, while exploring principles of engineering, architecture, physics and develop problem solving and critical thinking skills.
All materials included! 4-week programs.
This Fall: Enrichment Program will explore architecture, engineering and technology
concepts using LEGO® Education products and classes will focus on themes like Space,
Inventions, Famous Buildings, etc. Location: Robbins House—245 Windsor Rd. Fees: $70

BASKETBALL CLINIC (CO-ED)
This clinic is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game and will feature individual and team instruction, offensive and defensive drills, games, and contests.
Players will be grouped according to age and skill level. Emphasis is on fun and
learning. Players must be able to shoot at 10’ baskets. Players must bring a bag
lunch. Schools closed due to NJEA Convention. Location: Robbinsville High

ALL SPORTS CONDITIONING
Classes will focus on running technique, flexibility, core development, speed and agility.
Some strength training will be incorporated as well. This class is recommended to
athletes who are just getting started in organized sports and /or kids who just want to

ACT! ACTIVELY CHANGING TOGETHER
Created in partnership with Hamilton Pediatric Associates and funded in part by
Janssen Pharmaceuticals, ACT! is a fun, 24 session program designed to provide
young people with the tools needed to live a healthy lifestyle. Developed by YMCA
trainers and nutritionists, ACT! promotes healthier living by combining structured
physical activity with lessons in nutrition for the entire family. ACT! is led by a
certified personal trainer and licensed nutritionist. First time ACT! participants

Join other photography enthusiasts on a walk through TANTUM PARK and
take your photography to the next level! Led by local photographer Jen
Davis, this photowalk will teach you how to improve your photography,
understand your camera, and react to various photographic environments that you will encounter every day. Shoot side by side with Jen as
you learn to freeze motion, use flash, shoot in full sun, and low light, and
adjust your setting to blur your background. Guide sheets will be provided with hints/tips/tricks. DSLR cameras, or any with manual settings,
are recommended. Group will meet in the parking lot area near the playground. In the event of rain, the pavilion area will be used. Location:

Various activities are held at the Robbinsville Senior Center, located in the Municipal Complex, 1117 Route 130,
Robbinsville, (next to the Mercer County Library) and these activities include:
 6 consecutive weeks of Super Senior Fitness classes (held twice a week-must pre-pay and pre-register).
 Chair Yoga classes “Get Fit Where You Sit” every Tuesday 10-11:00 a.m. must be pre-pay and register for
this class.
 Chair Yoga class every Thursday morning 10-11:00 a.m. All adults 60+ years of age welcome to join us.
 Line Dancing Wednesday, 10:30-11:30 a.m. or Zumba Gold, Wednesday, 1:30-2:30 p.m. must pre-pay and preregister for Zumba Gold class. Call the Senior Center for dates & times.

Pickleball is in Robbinsville SC!! Pickelball is a combination of tennis, badminton and ping-pong, played with a solid paddle and whiffle-type ball on a court

Program Information
Programs are open to all Robbinsville Township residents. All
registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Space is limited for some programs. Registration and
payment is encouraged via our online Community Pass
System. Checks should be made payable to “Robbinsville
Township Recreation.”
