Recognizing nonperformance in your student is a challenge — especially at long distance. One of the most important things a parent can do for a collegeage student is to demonstrate interest. Being interested is different from being demanding. It is more “I’d like to know” than “You owe me this information.” ■ University of Central Oklahoma www.universityparent.com/uco 29 Phone Numbers & Websites 30 DEPARTMENT PHONE WEB ADDRESS Broncho Spirit Card (405) 974-5390 uco.edu/em/bsc Bursar Office (405) 974-2228 Campus Activities (405) 974-2363 uco.edu/ca Career Services (405) 974-3346 careers.uco.edu Center for Counseling & Well-being (405) 974-2215 uco.edu/counseling Center for eLearning and Customized Education (405) 974-2420 uco.edu/cece Center for Undergraduate Academic Advisement (405) 974-2342 uco.edu/advisement Centre for Global Competency (405) 974-2447 uco.edu/cgc Disability Support Services (405) 974-2516 uco.edu/disability Employment Services (405) 974-2366 jobs.uco.edu Housing and Dining (405) 974-2746 housing.uco.edu Information Technology Help Desk (405) 974-2255 uco.edu/technology Mercy Clinic at UCO (405) 974-3115 ucowellnesscenter.com Office of Diversity and Inclusion (405) 974-3588 uco.edu/diversity Office of First-Year Experience Programs (405) 974-5390 uco.edu/fye Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (405) 974-2580 uco.edu/greek Office of Off-Campus Life (405) 974-3655 uco.edu/ucommute Office of Parent & Family Programs (405) 974-3301 uco.edu/parents Office of Student Conduct (405) 974-2361 uco.edu/conduct Office of Student Organizations (405) 974-2625 uco.edu/studentorgs Police Services (405) 974-2345 Scholarships (405) 974-3334 uco.edu/scholarships Student Financial Services (405) 974-3334 uco.edu/finaid Student Life (405) 974-2364 uco.edu/studentlife Student Success (405) 974-3589 Testing Services (405) 974-2388 uco.edu/testing Transportation and Parking Services (405) 974-2780 uco.edu/parking Tutoring Central (405) 974-2487 tc.uco.edu UCO Foundation (405) 974-2770 uco.edu/foundation Undergraduate Admissions (405) 974-2727 uco.edu/admissions Volunteer and Service Learning Center (405) 974-2621 uco.edu/volunteer Weather Closing Line (405) 974-2002 uco.edu/resources/ closing_info.asp ■ University of Central Oklahoma UCO Area Resources For more area resources visit www.universityparent.com/uco Places to Stay Places to Live Fairfield Inn & Suites Edmond Bryant Grove Gateway at Edmond Bryant Place Apartments The Greens at Coffee Creek 20 S.
