International New Life connect with Good News Church Riga, Latvia Sandra Campbell visits – Haiti (2010), Sierra Leone (2011) and Guinea (2012) with Mercy Ships Stewart Rae - YWAM Texas International Celebration Weekends Russian Speaking Services, including Inverurie plant Launch English as an Additional Language course – 25-35 people Malawi projects – sent over £4000, Actionoverseas – over £8500 Prayer Thursday Morning Intecessory Prayer 1 day, 3 days, 5 days, 7 days of Continuous Prayer – 24/7 Individual days of Prayer and Fasting Corporate Evening of Worship and Prayer Many Answered Prayers - Ima’s Grandfather, Stephen’s Wife (Agnes) Kidnapped, David (Grace/Sheena’s uncle), many many more House Groups Increased number - approx 4 to 11 Increased proportion of New Lifers attend (50% to 75% of New Life) Reviewed and Restructured Developing ministry – teaching, socially, prayer, social action, personal development and soul winning Pastoral Care Counseling Ministry – informal and formal we purchased a New Life mini bus commenced a ‘Care Call’ system launched ‘Lifestyle Lunch’ with Christmas meal We’ve re-launched and expanded our ’Storehouse’ ministry New Life have helped many families come through really difficult times through our Social Action Ministry Yellow Blanket Story Marriages, Births (Sophia, Luca, Elaina, Jesse, Jonathan, Samuel, Linda, Holly) and Funerals • • • • • Alex & Kath Craig & Christina Desreen & Isaac Ali & Gary Jonny & Olu Events Celebrated 80 years in Aberdeen Came to Mile End – May 2011 Victus - 2 Scottish Conferences – over 150-160 attending year Carol Service in Mile End, 2011 - with almost 200 attending Race for Life Easter Hot Cross Buns & coffee in the community, Film Fest and Family Film Nights - Lord of The Rings and TransformersTrilogy fundraiser for Youth, New Life BBQs and Fun Days, Pampered Chef/Body Shop/Games Night fundraisers World Cup and Euro 2012 coverage, Songs from Yesteryear Leadership Implemented New Department Structure – appointed Department Managers We have enlarged New Life’s leadership capacity by ordaining 2 Elders and a Deacon We have supported the work of God in City Church by loaning them Leadside Road on a Sunday morning as God continues to increase both New Life and City Church Church Administration We established a New Life Church Office (Regus then Leadside) and appointed a Church Administrator. Church administration moved into Leadside Road and we have begun to centralise all administrative functions Launched a New Web Site – which receives over 600 hits a month 5 New Life Staff; more than 5 Voluntary staff Work Experience Opportunities for School Pupils and School Leavers Make the Bold Move… 19 See, I am doing a new thing!
