The students, better known as “delegates,” debate current issues on the organization’s vast agenda. They prepare draft resolutions, plot strategy, negotiate with supporters and adversaries, resolve conflicts, and navigate the UN’s rules of procedure – all in the interest of resolving problems that affect the world. Members of the Khabele Model UN Club will explain how it all works. Model UN is open to high school students in 9 - 12th grade. Head of Middle School Ryan Phillips is currently working on a project in his free time updating Durant’s experiment. He will share where he is and where he hopes to go in this presentation.
