Olika ansökningar! ►Alla ansökningar via www.csn.se 5 Ansökan ►Ska du studera en termin utomlands, sök även för dina studier i Sverige samtidigt! ►Har du redan studiemedel för den termin du ska utomlands – gör ny ansökan samt ändring 6 Utbytesstudier och tillgodoräknande ►Skolan i Sverige ska intyga att studierna i sin helhet kan tillgodoräknas i utbildningen ►Antagningsbevis från mottagande skola behövs inte vid utbytesstudier 7 Utbytesstudier och tillgodoräknande ►Vi vill att uppgiften ska finnas i LADOK Där ska framgå: ►Var du ska läsa – Universitet/högskola i utlandet ►Under vilken termin ►Hur många poäng du får tillgodoräkna dig 8 Studiernas omfattning ►Studier inom EU Studierna måste pågå under minst 3 veckor och vara på minst deltid (50%). ►Studier utanför EU Studierna måste pågå under minst 3 veckor och vara på heltid (100%). First pay, then claim money back – be sure to have some spare money with you! First pay, then claim money back – be sure to have some spare money with you! 2010 05 04 INSURANCE – within EU/EEA • Same coverage as Student UT outside of EU/EEA, except for medical and dental care: • Bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), issued by Försäkringskassan (www.forsakringskassan.se) or similar social insurance authority in your home country. Be sure to order this in time! • You are covered by this card instead of the MIC of the 'Student-UT’ insurance’ • If you are a non-EU/EEA-citizen (and not eligible for an EHIC card), contact International Office The EHIC is valid in the following countries: Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, France, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Cyprus, Malta, Bulgaria, Romania INTERNATIONAL OFFICE 2010 05 04 LEARNING AGREEMENT • Your guarantee for acknowledgement of courses! • Should be signed by the course/programme responsible • Hand in a copy to International Coordinator at your Faculty / Department / School before you go if possible • Original MUST be brought to your host university • If you change courses while abroad: Do NOT forget to complete the back of the Learning Agreement and send it ASAP for signing! SURVIVAL GUIDE PAGE 12 INTERNATIONAL OFFICE 2010 05 04 LADOK • Hand/send in exact semester dates (Letter of Acceptance or printed dates from website) to your International Coordinator ASAP and BEFORE you leave. • You will then be registered by your International Coordinator at your department/school/faculty for exchange studies in LADOK before you leave. INTERNATIONAL OFFICE 2010 05 04 TRAVEL ADVICE • Read the Ministry for Foreign Affairs travel recommendations: For Swedish citizens: www.ud.se/resklar • Collect all the contact information to your embassy or consulate abroad, and make sure you know what they can (or cannot) help you with! More information: www.swedenabroad.com INTERNATIONAL OFFICE 2010 05 04 VISA/RESIDENCE PERMIT • Student’s own responsibility to check and arrange: up to you! • European citizen within EU: If you’re staying longer than 3 months you need to apply for a residence permit in your host country. • All citizens outside EU: Apply on time! INTERNATIONAL OFFICE 2010 05 04 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FROM OUTSIDE THE EU/EEA ON EXCHANGE INTERNATIONAL OFFICE • You should not apply for a residence permit for studies in Sweden for the semester you will be on exchange • Apply for residence permit in the country where you will be going on exchange. • You must apply for residence permit to study in Sweden for your return semester at Malmö University • Information: www.migrationsverket.se CONCLUSION – WHAT TO SEND WHERE SEKTION 2010 05 04 GET UP – STAND UP! Be sure to check what is included and acquaint yourself with what to do if you would become ill during your studies abroad. Also check what is included in your insurance if you are to travel/do extracurricular activities during your stay. Remember to tend to your health To be out in the sun • • Sunscreen Follow the local populations’ example; build your tan slowly!
