RLB Youth - Fact Sheet
• Five divisions featured including U8, U9, U10, U11, and U12
• Player skills and age will determine what division each player is in.
• Each age bracket will ideally have 4-5 teams, each team consisting of 12-15 players.
• All games are played at the Rock Sports Complex on a synthetic field that is a replica of a major league ballpark, including Brewers Field and Cardinals Field.
• Head Coaches are trained and use methods employed by RLB, the American Baseball Coaches Association, and Major fLeague Baseball.
• All players are issued a twill jersey, set of pants, and fitted hat for use during the season (these are returned to RLB at the end of the program).
• All players will make a team – no one is “cut.” There will be a skills assessment, to determine the skill level of each player so as to divide talent equally.
• Fans enjoy great views of the action, with fields using the same backstop netting as professional ballparks.
• Practices will be scheduled primarily on weeknights, but will include some Saturday practices as well.
• Games will be scheduled on a mix of both Saturdays and weekday evenings.
• There are no “residency requirements” at RLB. Sign up no matter where you live!

Season Begins: 4/28 (1st practice)
Evaluation Days & Parent Meetings: 3/31 – 4/15
Uniform Days: Coaches will hand out uniforms at the first few practices

Approximate number of RLB events per season (includes winter training): spring/summer 21 events,
fall: 15 events, winter: 20 events
