Richard Winters
Richard Winters has worked with horses for over 30 years. He participated in many rodeo arenas and
worked for many ranches cross the Western Coast of USA. He has won many champion titles including
Word Champion of the Reined Cow
Horse Association and Western States
Champion in Colt Starting, he received
Monty Roberts Prize for his contribution
to building man/horse relations and he
won Road to the Horse competition in
2009.
Richard travels giving clinics for all
horsemen – let them be beginners or
advanced riders. He also cooperates with
the famous Thacher School in California,
where he teaches his own program Richard Winters Horsemanship –
showing how to achieve lightness of the
trained horses thanks to the right communication – no matter what style you ride or compete.
The clinic will focus on light hands and lightness of other cues in all equestrian disciplines.
The clinic starts at 09.oo a.m. on Monday (indoor arena at Western City) and will last 8
hours with a break of 1.5 hrs.
Available forms of participation:
- as a rider – with own horse
- as an auditor.
Participant fees:
- 105 euro riders
- 40 euro auditors
Prices do not include stall fees nor accommodation & food for participants.
The number of participants will be limited so each rider can expect to get individual feedback from
Richard, as well as benefit from the feedback he will give others.
