classes are required for parents and Godparents. Parents
must be registered, participating members of the parish
for at least two months, Godparents must be practicing
Catholics who have received Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation, and if they are couples must be married by
the Catholic Church.
Please call the church office at least four to six

(Christian Initiation for
adults and children 7 years and older): For more information please call at 407-656-3113.
Please notify us when you would like a hospital or
home visit.
We believe that life long learning and growing is healthy
for all ages and stages. We also expect that we as
adults, youth or children will continue to grow and learn
our faith for our entire life. We encourage all youth;
Kindergarten to Grade 12 to participate in Religious Education.
Every child should be receiving education in their faith
every year. Every adult should continue to read, study
share the Scriptures, their faith and their prayer with
others.
We know that a relationship with Christ is so important
that we require a minimum of one or two years of Religious Education before preparing for the Sacraments of
Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. Religious
Education is for every year that our child is in school,
not just when they are preparing for a sacrament.
If your child is not participating please call at 407-6563113 x4 or email Maryann McFerrin maryannmcferrin@gmail.com to see how we can assist you with Religious Education.

Easter!
Easter Sunday marks the first day of a new creation. That is why for us Sunday is
the Day of the Lord. New life has come into the world. The empty tomb represents
that our hope in Jesus is not vain; that the crosses we encounter in our journey do
not represent God’s absence from our lives. Indeed just the opposite: so much God
loves us that his only begotten Son has died for us, so we can find the way to salvation. And the one who has died is now Risen! Alleluia!
I want to greet a Blessed Easter to all parishioners, all families, and visitors, all
those celebrating this marvelous day.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who helped in carrying out the Holy Week celebrations. readers and Pastoral Liturgy, the Eucharist Ministers, Coral and all that somehow contributed to the experience of Holy Week in our parish. May the grace of the
Risen Christ always be with you all!
May this joyful time bring peace and fulfillment into your lives. May your hope be
renewed, as this great event enables us to see beyond the present moment.
A Blessed Easter to you and your loved ones. May the joy of this day continue to renew your faith in the Lord Jesus.
The Lord is Risen indeed!
Father Carlos Anklan, c.s.
Pastor
Alleluia! Alleluia! At the Holy Saturday Vigil, we welcomed to the faith twelve Catechumens who were baptized, confirmed and welcomed to the table of the Eucharist.
Cindy Aquino-Martinez, Ismael Castillo, Ivette Castello, Izabella Castillo, Sara Gonzalez, Becky Haze, Arnold
Hernandez, Isai Maldonado, Marcelo Panades, Oskary Perkins, Taunelly Tabio, Wisnel Tominobu. Also we welcomed Lisa Schilling a candidate who received First Communion and Confirmation.
Sometimes during Easter Celebrations family members begin to ask questions about your faith. Help them to understand the Catholic faith and perspective. If they are ready to explore our faith or come back to the sacraments, please
encourage them. RCIA is for adults who want to learn more about our faith. Please call Sister Pat 407-656-3113 or

Aleluia! Cristo ressuscitou!
Tudo parecia ter acabado. Mas no domingo, o sepulcro estava vazio. Uma certeza começa a
invadir o coração de todos: Cristo ressuscitou! A vida venceu a morte. É Páscoa! Aleluia!
Ressuscitou para estar eternamente com os seus. Um novo tempo se faz. Em todos os tempos, a
vida sempre será a referência maior.
dizimista!

Vanessa McCarthy, advogada do Catholic Charities
formulário preenchido deve ser enviado para:
Catholic Charities of Central Florida, INC.
Immigration and Refugee Services

individualmente. A partir do êxito desta primeira experiência, a intensão é
sala 2 do centro paroquial.
