activities will wrap-up with a BBQ dinner.
The club supplies burger/hot dogs and the

prizes. We want to be well prepared for all

volunteers to help out with the set up.
Please RSVP to AGPApresident@shaw.ca
With the # attending, how long your staying, and what you would like to volunteer
for and if you will be participating in the
sluicing competition There will be extra
sluices available if necessary, but it would
be appreciated if you brought your own.

The CRLC Rock & Gem Show
The AGPA attended the Calgary Rock & Lapidary Club show the
weekend of May 1-3. The club had a Pan for $2 bin which had gold
flakes and a couple of Gold nuggets in it. This went over extremely
well and in addition to that we sold plenty of bags of Paydirt and
Pans. In total we raised over $1300 towards the club trailer! We
would like to thank the following people AGPA members for volunteering. Dennis Kuch, Bill & Marion Brown, Terry Rockson, Harry
Waytuck and Devon Wasilewski. In addition we would not have
been able to hold the event without the generous help and support
of Pat & Fred Walker.
Fort Edmonton Scout Camp
The AGPA was at the Scouts Jamboree again last weekend May 2. It was a
great day for all and we taught 86 kids
how to pan for gold! We would like
to thank the following people for their
help at the event. Doug Boudreau, Jim
Holzer, Chris Kuchmak, David Miller,
Vivian Perepelecta, Barry Perepelecta,
Robin Rosborough, Reene White,
Marty Yanishewski, Bill Davies &
Noah - An offer of service venture
scout that helped out.
In addition a great thanks is needed to
Rod Walker who organized the event
for the AGPA. Without him it would
it would not have been possible.
