Helen is currently enrolled in the Bastow Institutes Aspirant Leaders Program, and as part of her studies will spend the month at WASPS gaining experience in all aspects of leading a school community. We welcome Helen and trust she has a great experience at WASPS. Staff Carpark Can I ask all parents and children to not only not use the staff carpark as a pick up and drop off point, but to not walk through the carpark before or after school. On Tuesday we nearly had a serious accident with a number of students walking through the carpark escorted by adults who then tried to cross Tyner Road without using the school crossing. Please ensure that when picking up and dropping off children that you always use the front gate at school. Aussie of the Month Tomorrow is an Aussie Assembly beginning at 3.00p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. We look forward to seeing everyone at assembly as we celebrate our Aussie, Sports Star and Performing Artist of the Month. School Production Excitement is building as our production, “Back to the Music” will be performed at the Kel Watson Theatre, Forest Hill Secondary College on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th July. The staff and children have been working hard rehearsing for our school production with the main cast and bands rehearsing during the holidays. Yesterday we had our first run through and it was great to see how well the production is coming together. It promises to be a great experience for all children and a night not to be missed. Tickets are selling fast and can be purchased online at: www.trybooking.com/LRJK T-Ball Finals Last Tuesday we hosted the T-ball Finals for the Wantirna District Sports Association.
