Gerald

“Nena”
Ana Maria Rutenberg
Colour is what draws Ana Maria to paint. She loves how
colours and forms depict the intricacies of objects. Often
she starts painting in her mind and imagining how colours
will express her feelings and ideas. Ana Maria continues to
experiment with new mediums and techniques to expand
her art expression.
Gerald has two degrees in fine art, a
BFA from Mount
Allison, NB and an
MA (Studio Art) from
the University of
Saskatchewan. He
has lived in Ottawa
since 1987 and has exhibited his work regularly in
community and co-operative galleries. Gerald’s specialties are portraits, seascapes and abstracts. He is a
member of the Foyer Gallery and the Kanata Civic
Gallery.

Bernice Wills
Bev Ashford graduated in Fine Arts from St. Lawrence
College in Brockville and is a fellow in the Ottawa Watercolour Society. Bev expresses her love of painting
through a strong sense of design by exploring the
movement of shapes and colours in nature. These
paintings will range from a ‘representational’ image to
‘impressionistic’ to ‘abstract’.
John, who is originally from Ireland, came to Canada
in 1998. He owns and runs Art Mad, in Stittsville,
offering art supplies, gallery space and art classes.
His preferred medium is watercolour which he finds
perfect in reflecting the various colours and moods of
the Irish and Canadian seasons.
Bernice Wills has studied art in Halifax and Ottawa,
first in oils and now enjoys the challenge of watercolours. She looks for light and colour in her paintings,
be it floral, landscape or still life. She is a member of
the Kanata Art Club, the Stittsville Art Group and the
Nepean Fine Art League.

Louise
Barker
Originally from Alberta
many years ago, retirement has given her
the privilege of fulfilling a desire to paint,
Louise has taken
numerous local workshops and courses in
a variety of mediums.
Landscapes in oils
and watercolours, coloured pencil still life, and some
portraits present a varied mix. Painting the beauty of
our surroundings is a challenge that leaves her eager to start the next project.

Sue Perley-Robertson
Sue Perley-Robertson has attended numerous
courses with Artists that work in various mediums.
The techniques she uses with watercolour on paper
and acrylic on canvas direct her towards the creation
of the painting. Sue enjoys working in an abstract
