Inspired by the unique perspectives of the See by Chloé gang cast on the streets of Europe, contemporary separates are layered together to reflect an authentic, independent style direct from Paris, Brussels, London, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Berlin. Soft, tiered shapes reflect an innate femininity accented with moments of artisanal texture; from accents of braided denim, ruching, broderie anglaise, and tasselled fringe. Copper-tinted hardware evokes elements of equestrian style, as does the elegant but playful motif of Chloé’s galloping horse that arrives as a picturesque jacquard and fringed appliqué. The graphic motif of ‘Le Bisou’ - a playful heart inside a pair of lips - is introduced for the first time, a See by Chloé signature that reflects the youthful attitude of the house. Building on the elegant base of warm navy blue, a dusty palette colours the See by Chloé collection through shades of blush pink, raspberry, nude, ivory, white and faun to pops of pale yellow and bright chartreuse. Textures abound, as the utilitarian silhouette of a parka and collarless, quilted coat are rendered feminine in blush-coloured cotton gabardine, blanket checked lining and panels of bouclé tweed. Furthermore an abstract ‘pointilliste’ print of a dreamy forest landscape undulates across georgette, warm blanket checks are cut in cotton flannel, and prints of paisley and polka dots add a retro touch to collared blouses, bootcut trousers and a mid-length petticoat skirt. Fusing romance with geometry, a repetition of broderie anglaise meets decorative panels of floral lace, in angular patchworks across cascading skirts, jersey sweatshirts, and dainty collared shirts. Key silhouettes like the pocket pinafore dress, tailored shorts, and A-line miniskirt are cut in washed and over-dyed denim with braided pocket details, or a graphic denim jacquard of galloping horses. A diverse, rich offering of knitwear extends the collection’s authentic feeling of arts and crafts, in Shetland jacquard cardigans, a shaggy pullover, ribbed cape and wide-sleeved sweaters featuring a turtleneck or boatneck collar. Expressing the collection’s folk appeal, flat boots are fringed to the thigh or ankle boots accented with Western appliqué and a stacked Cuban heel. Laced wedges in calfskin or suede are studded and end in a pointed toe, reflecting the equestrian touch of a saddle bag and satchel tooled with studs and quilted panelling. press & contact information europe KCD PARIS ALEXANDRE MALGOUYRES MALGOUYRES@KCDWORLDWIDE.FR TEL: + 33 1 49 96 60 85 LISE DELBOS DELBOS@KCDWORLDWIDE.FR TEL: +33 1 49 96 20 70 usa KCD NYC MATTHEW BIRES BIRES@KCDWORLDWIDE.COM TEL: +1 212 590 5122 japan STEADY STUDY RIE IMANISHI RIE.I@STEADY-STUDY.CO.JP TEL: +81 3 5469 7110 asia/pacific CHLOE WANDY MOU WANDY-PC.MOU@CHLOE.COM TEL: +852 2532 7679
