Our farm was recently recognized as a Sesquicentennial Farm - 150 years in the family!
We run our cow/calf operation at close to 100 momma cows.
We participate in the Great Shorthorn Revival Sale, The Family Event Sale, and our own
Breeders World Online Sales. Many of these animals will be on display.
We are currently using 3 herdsires: FF Redman, BFS Big Country, and BFS Master Prince.
We have used embryo transfer to get the most out of our very best cow families. These
will be well represented by the Lovely Lady’s, Augusta Prides, Elsie Jade’s, Carmele’s,
Margie’s and Ruby’s. Many of the Donors will be on display.
Our friends & neighbors, Jon and Dori Horst, have 4500 mums for sale this year. If you
are looking for mums, please check out their bountiful crop on the 13th!
The kids will have yard games set up. There will be plenty of food and drink available for
everyone. The coffee pot will be on all afternoon. We look forward to hosting the picnic &
seeing you on September 13th.
