English Guide to To Ensure an Enjoyable Visit to the Zoo and Botanical Gardens Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens Requests for Visitors Hours of Admission ●Admission with dogs, cats, or any other pets is not permitted. 9:00 am to 4:30 pm (park closed at 4:50 pm) ●Please be kind to the animals and refrain from feeding them. Closed ●Collecting insects or flora within the park is not permitted. Mondays (or the following day when Monday is a national holiday) December 29 through January 1 ●Conduct that may bother others, such as ball-throwing and use of mini-scooters, is not permitted.
