RECIPE Carrot Cake with spiced cream cheese frosting INGREDIENTS ¼ 2 ½ 1 ½ ½ 2 ½ ½ 3 2 6 ¼ ¼ 2 60 MIN Cup + 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil Tablespoons Golden Raisins Cup Sugar Egg Teaspoon Cinnamon Teaspoon Vanilla Carrots GRATED Cup + 1 Tablespoon Flour Teaspoon Baking Powder Ounces Cream Cheese AT ROOM TEMPERATURE Tablespoons Butter AT ROOM TEMPERATURE Tablepoons Powdered Sugar Teaspoon Cinnamon Teaspoon Vanilla Tablespoons Sprinkles 8501 EQUIPMENT TWO RAMEKINS INSTRUCTIONS TWO MEDIUM BOWLS SHEET PAN Prior to cooking, read all instructions. Wash all produce and prepare ingredients as listed on the front of this card. 1 2 3 4 Get Started Mix the Wet Ingredients Finish the Cake Batter Bake the Carrot Cake Heat oven to 350�F. Combine remaining vegetable oil and sugar in medium bowl. Mix flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp cinnamon into wet ingredients. Reserve remaining cinnamon for frosting in step 5. Fold in carrots and raisins. While cake is baking, make the frosting. Use 1 tbsp vegetable oil to grease two ramekins. Then, sprinkle a small amount of flour into each ramekin, turning so that all sides get coated in some flour. Once fully incorporated, add egg and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Reserve remaining vanilla for frosting in step 5. Divide batter evenly into prepared ramekins. Place them on sheet pan and bake 35 - 40 minutes. QUICK TIPS We love baking the cake before we even start cooking dinner. That way, you can let it bake while you cook dinner, and let it cool while you eat. Then, just frost it and enjoy for dessert! 5 6 Make the Spiced Cream Cheese Frosting Frost the Cakes Cream butter and cream cheese together in medium bowl until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar, a couple tablespoons at a time. Let cakes cool completely before turning them out on a plate. Mix in remaining vanilla and cinnamon. Frosting should be spreadable but not too thick. If your cakes have a dome, simply use a cerated knife to level them off before frosting.
