Aims to create a sustainable environment by implementing 2 sub projects - Fruit For Thought and 4Nature.
These projects mainly empower local communities towards betterment by targeting the strengths and weakness
of two groups - farmers and single mothers. In order to equip these groups with entrepreneurial knowledge and
skills, which they are lacking of, we have conducted several workshops under the New Entrepreneur Development
Programme, N.E.D.P.R.O.
Farmers
(Hope Opportunity Motivation Entrepreneurship)
Aims to develop the Orang Asli, Kensiu community of Semang Negrito tribe in Kedah. They are often neglected
by society, faces social problems, lack educational awareness and experience unstable economic conditions.
Therefore, SIFE UUM identified their problems and their needs to improve the standard and quality of living
through education and entrepreneurship.

Single mothers monthly income increases
from RM 500 to RM 620 (24 %).

Successfully restored the fertility of 35 acres of land.
Reduced usage of chemical fertilizers by 3089 kg and
chemical pesticides by 30 litres per acre annually.
Reduce the agricultural waste by 1.5
tonnes annually.

Regular medical check-up and basic health care by LPPKN is scheduled annually.
Incorporating eggs incubator system to ensure long term supply of chicks.
Step By Step module certified by JPN Kedah has been adopted by the teachers in SKS
(Sekolah Kebangsaan Siong, Baling, Kedah).
Expand the distribution channels for the ‘Kabu-Kabu’ pillow business.
