Parent Support Adviser
Julie Tremlin
If you find yourself thinking...
We are here to support you because…..
Being a parent is never easy and at times its good to have
someone to talk to ...
My child’s behaviour is really
draining me!
I don’t feel I am being
listened to
I need some support
but I don’t know
where to turn to
So how can I help?
I’ve just moved here,
I am really worried about
my child
and I don’t
know anyone
...or if you have any other concerns or queries, call me
for a chat, or to arrange to meet.
What is a Parent Support

Support you with your child’s learning and school
attendance.

Support for you with your child’s move between schools.

Introducing strategies to manage your child’s behaviour and improve
routines.

Accessing additional support and services for parents and children.

Providing information and advice to parents on a range of issues
affecting family life.

My role as a Parent Support Adviser in
Kiwi School is to work in partnership
with parents as a link between home
and school, being a listening ear and
offering practical help.
Liaising with other agencies to ensure children can get the best out of
their learning.

Support at an early stage when an issue first arises. This may involve
working with the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) to access
additional services.
I realise that you know your child best
and welcome working with you to help
your child reach their true
potential.

Providing local information if you’ve just moved into the area.

Parent Café on Fridays 9:00am—10:30am at the Children’s Centre
