THE HELP ME GROW
PROGRAM
The Help Me Grow (HMG)
Program is Ohio’s Birth to 3
system that provides state and
federal funds to the Family
Children First Councils (FCFC)
to be used in conjunction with
state, local and other federal
funds to implement and
maintain a coordinated,
community-based infrastructure
that promotes transdiciplinary,
family-centered services for
expectant parents, newborns,
infants and toddlers and their
families.
The Help Me Grow (HMG)
Program provides support to
families when there are question
about a child’s development. If a
child is found eligible and has a
need for services, the assigned
Service Coordinator pulls
together information, materials
and teams of professionals to
join the family in identifying
learning opportunities that
support the family’s priorities in
every day routines and
environments.
