Snap Crackle and Pop
Students find themselves a spot in the classroom and squat down. The teacher talks the students through this exercise. Every student is a piece of corn and the floor is a big pan. The class is going to make popcorn. The pan is heated slowly and as it gets hotter, corn starts to ‘pop’. A student can ‘pop’ by jumping up, clapping their hands above their head and saying “Pop”. Things to make sure of in this game are that the ‘popping’ starts gradually, that the ‘popping’ is a group thing and that in the end the ‘popping’ should stop. @DaleSidebottom
