Seth MR Jaipuria School, Lucknow has been established in April
1992 in memory of Late Seth Mungturam Jaipuria, a great
nationalist and doyen of the Textile Industry, who was conferred
‘Padma Bhushan’ by the President of India in 1971 in
recognition of his services to the society. The present patron of
the school is Shri Sharad Jaipuria. The school has a vision of a
new world in which relationships are governed by the spirit of
universal fraternity.
The school functions under the guidance and counsel of a galaxy
of eminent leaders drawn from the fields of Education, Science &
Technology and Industry under the aegis of the Integral
Education Society.

Integral Education Society (IES) is the educational and philanthropic arm of the house of Jaipuria.
The Jaipuria group has a long heritage of providing educational excellence to the youth of India. The family

The School maintains a well-equipped dispensary (infirmary) under the care of a qualified doctor and a trained nurse.

Education is as much a science as an art. Thats why over last two decades, we’ve evolved a proven methodology
of imparting integral education to our students.
Keeping in my the various stages of learning in a child’s life, we have divided the 14 years that a student spends
at Jaipuria, into 5 stages. At each stage our deft and experienced facilitators address the varied individual needs
of the students in a scientific manner with innovative pedagogical tools.
THE LAST SCHOOL
AFTER SCHOOL 1
Kindergarten I & II, Level 1, 2 and 3
Demonstration School–Level 4 and 5
At the Last School, we carry out the basic function of a
‘school’ i.e. to teach. The focus is on the development of
language skills, both oral and written, mathematics and
on the development of motor skills, mind-body coordination etc.
The focus is on students learning through a continuous process of
demonstrations made by the teachers. Teachers use tools such as
Presentations, Field Visits, Trips, Museum Visits, Movie Viewing, Slide Shows,
Exhibitions, Dramas, Recitations. Students are introduced to a variety of
curricular and non-curricular subjects. A special course of study at this stage
is the subject of 'What is learning? How does one learn? What are the
methods & tools for learning?’
AFTER SCHOOL 2
Exploration School–Level 6, 7 & 8
The focus is on students learning through
Explorations, Experimentations, Project Work &
Research. Students are introduced to new more
specialized fields of knowledge within the streams of
Science & Social Studies.
AFTER SCHOOL 3
Assimilation School–Level 9 and 10
Facilitators and mentors at this stage are attentive & supportive to each
student's individual developmental needs. They also develop a
counselor profile for each student to help them chart their growth path.

Having gone through the previous stages, students are now prepared to be introduced to subjects at a higher level.

The medium of instruction is ENGLISH and the school

Students from classes III to IV are a part of Mindspark programme an exclusive and innovative online Maths class that helps the students
to develop and strengthen fundamental skills in Mathematics.
The school provides active E-learning facility through Smart Classes
from LKG to Class XII. Modules and contents are regularly updated so

THE RULES FOR
ADMISSION


Minimum age for admission to class LKG is 3 years and 6 months,
UKG is 4 years and 6 months (i.e. on 1st April of the session year).
Minor changes may be allowed at the discretion of the
Management.
Application for admission should be given in the appropriate
form. The school reserves the right to test the child in any or all the
subjects. Children, along with their parents, will be interviewed, if
necessary, by the Principal.

Students who are transferred from other schools must have their
transfer certificates, counter-signed by the Inspector of Schools of
the state concerned.

For admission to KG and class I, parents are required to submit a
photocopy of the date of birth of their wards issued by a
competent authority at the time of registration.

For admission to other classes a certificate from the Head of the
Institution where the students is presently studying, will have to be
produced at the time of registration.
CRITERIA FOR
EXAMINATION &
PROMOTION
THE SCHOOL PREPARES THE STUDENTS FOR:

I.C.S.E. Examination (at the end of Class X)

I.S.C. Examination (at the end of Class XII)

Preparing the students for the Cambridge School Certificate and
IB is under consideration.

Annual Examination in classes V to IX and XI are held in March.

Cumulative assessment of the whole year’s work is considered for
promotion, except in classes IX & XI, where the norms are
different.

In classes IX & XI marks obtained by the students at the Annual
Examination (to be held in March every year) alone will be taken
into consideration for promotion. No re-tests will be held for
detained students.

A student who fails twice in the same class will have to be
withdrawn from the school.
PAYMENT OF FEE

Fees are to be paid in the School Office in advance for every three
months before the end of the first month. Fees once paid is not
refundable.

Payment of fee by cheque/pay order shall be accepted up to the
30th of the first month of a term in which the payment falls due.

Cheques/Pay orders should be drawn in favour of Seth M.R.
Jaipuria School, Lucknow, payable at local banks.

T.C. will be required for admission. The original copy of the birth
certificate must be produced for verification when required.

In case a cheque is dishonoured a fine of Rs.100/- will have to be
paid along with the fees as applicable.

Two passport size photographs of the student are required at the
time of registration.


Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained from the school
office on payment of Rs. 500. A Registration Fee of Rs. 1000 (non
refundable) will have to be paid for registration. No registration
will be accepted for classes where there are no notified vacancies.
After the end of the first month, a fine of Rs. 50/- will be charged
per fortnight or part thereof for late payment of fees. If the fees
remain unpaid for two consecutive months, the name of the
student will be struck off the rolls.

The fact that a bill or a memorandum has not been received by
the parent or that it has been received late, neither exempts the
student from paying fines nor prevents the school from striking the
name of the student off the rolls for non-payment of fees.

If any student whose name has been struck off seeks readmission,
he/she will be charged a re-admission fee of `1000, provided
re-admission is allowed.

If any collection charges are levied, the same would be payable by
the guardians/parents.


The registered applicants will be required to appear for a
test/interview, after which the admission may be granted or
refused. The decision of the school authorities will be final as far
as granting/refusal of admission is concerned.
Parents are requested to give an advance notice of at least a
month for the withdrawal of their wards. Otherwise a fee
equivalent to the tuition fee of one month will be charged for
issuing the transfer certificate.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
ROLE OF PARENT
Students are required to wear school uniform as given below:

a) Summer: Grey terry cot shorts for boys upto class V
(as per school colour). Trousers of the same material for other
classes (boys).
Parents are expected to cooperate with the school authorities in
maintaining punctuality, regularity and discipline.

Parents should ensure that their wards take an active interest in the
school activities.

Continuous absence of students for 15 days without permission is
tantamount to indiscipline and the name of the student shall be
struck off the rolls under such circumstances.

The name of a student absenting without permission of three
consecutive days after any vacation is liable to be struck off the
rolls.
b) Winter : Grey terry cot trousers for boys upto class XII
(as per school colour).
c) Summer and Winter : Grey terry cot pleated skirts for girls
(as per school colour)
a) White terry cot shirts half sleeves with school insignia and
school monogram for summer and full sleeves for winter.

Maroon Blazers (single breast) with brass button bearing school
insignia and school monogram are compulsory for winter.
Maroon full sleeved pullover of the approved pattern for LKG
children.

Maroon sleeveless pullovers (plain without designs) matching the
colour of the school blazer may be worn extra if it is very cold.


CHANGE OF PROSPECTUS
The instructions given in this prospectus supersede all other
regulations reproduced elsewhere or printed in earlier issues.
The prospectus is liable to change without notice. Any such changes,
when made, will be binding on all existing students also.
GOVERNMENT ORDER
“SEATS WILL BE RESERVED FOR THE WEAKER
SECTIONS OF THE SOCIETY AS PER THE RTE
ACT IN THE LKG SECTION, IN COMPLIANCE WITH
THE STATE GOVT ORDERS, WHEN RECEIVED.”

Parents are required to sign their wards’ Progress Reports and
return the Progress Report when required.

Private tuitions are not encouraged. Parents are requested not to
engage teachers of this school as private tutors for their wards.

Parents/guardians and others are requested not to visit the classes
or meet the teachers (in school campus) without the prior
permission of the Principal.

Parents are required to notify the school office of any change in
their address.

All communications with the school should bear the name, scholar
number, class and section of the student.

Only written requests from parents to allow the child to leave
before the school gets over will be entertained.

Parents are advised not to call away their wards during class
hours.

All belongings of students should bear their names and classes.
The school will not be responsible for any losses.

Students should not bring mobile phones or other such electronic
gadgets to school.

Parent-Teacher Meetings are held at regular intervals to provide
parents and teachers an opportunity for exchanging views on the
progress of the students.

An Open House is held on every 3rd Saturday of the month which
gives the parents and teachers an opportunity to meet and discuss
the child’s development and progress.

While every possible care is taken to ensure the safety and security
