CAMP CAYUGA Back to School Edition
CAMP CAYUGA WAZ-UP NEWSLETTER Back to School Edition Thank You Campers First of all, we’d like to start off this newsletter by saying “thanks” to all Cayuga campers and staff for their awesome camp spirit this past summer. YOU ARE THE BEST and we thank you for making SUMMER 2016 one of our best summers ever! Yes indeed, it was a GREAT SUMMER... our campers had a lot of fun & made a lot of friends, AND our staff members were 100% dedicated to insuring we each had a positive, fun-filled experience. You all did an excellent job, and we thank you again for the wonderful memories we’ll cherish for a very long time. NEW FOR 2017 Right now, we’re researching several new ideas, and asking all campers to help us! There’s a section on the “After-Camp Questionnaire” where you can give us your opinion on what we should add for 2017. We can’t wait to hear what you want to see at camp next year! As we collect ideas we will keep you informed. Thanks gang! We’ve already received suggestions like foil fencing and internet-based programs like blogging and updating the Cayuga media sites (facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.) CAMP CAYUGA... IT LASTS A LIFETIME! We Need Your Feedback! Well, from the feedback we’ve received to date, this past summer will be remembered for making lifetime friendships, having fun, and enjoying the wide variety of activities. Naturally, it’s satisfying to learn that our hard work paid off, but more importantly, at this time we’re looking for your opinion on areas that can be improved. That is, how can we make Cayuga better for you and other campers in the future? We can’t improve something we don’t know about, so please let us know where we are falling short. Of course, if you’d like to tell us where we’re doing a good job, that’s helpful too! Our Camp Directors review all questionnaires and take into account each comment when planning for next season. So please all campers and parents, give us your feedback! TO COMPLETE YOUR ONLINE AFTER-CAMP QUESTIONNAIRE, login to your account, click “Forms & Documents” and then click “After-Camp Questionnaire. - Online Version.” If you prefer to print out the questionaire, click “After Camp Questionaire - PDF Form.” Thanks for your time - your opinion counts! 2017 early bird special TIME IS RUNNING OUT! We are currently offering Cayuga families and their friends a BIG discount off next summer’s advertised tuition rates. The “Early Bird” Enrollment Application not only reserves a space for you, but also saves your parents loads of $$$. The discounted tuition rates expire September 30th, so don’t delay! A $500 deposit is required. If your brother or sister joins you next summer, your parents can save even more money. SIBLING CREDITS: If more than one child from a family enrolls, the second child receives a $400 credit (for full season), $300 (six weeks), $200 (half-session), or $100 (two week mini-session). Wow, that’s a great deal! TO REGISTER: To enroll for next summer, simply go to Cayuga’s website and click “Login”. You’ll need your password to enter your online account. The online enrollment process is very user-friendly (and safe for your computer.) There are various options available for paying your deposit. If you prefer, you can enroll using a paper enrollment application form - also available on our website (www.campcayuga. Congratulations for a “job well done.” You guys were awesome! And a “hats-off” to Australia, the runners-up in this summer’s Annual Olympics. This year’s Olympics was loaded with both competitive and goofy events like the egg toss, water balloon toss, egg volleyball, tug-of-war, cross country relay race, and of course the final closing ceremony.
