Courses Offered Degree Engineering Course Master of Computer Application (MCA) (4 Years Bachelor Degree Engineering Programme) (3-Year Post Graduation; 120 Seats) Civil Engineering (60 seats) Computer Engineering (60 Seats) Electrical Engineering (60 seats) Electronics & Communication Engineering (60 seats) Mechanical Engineering (60 seats) Eligibility criteria for admission Eligibility criteria for admission (1) Students shall have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE & ACPC, for the corresponding year. (1) Students who have passed 12th Standard examination in science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics subject from any recognized board. (2) Students shall have passed the qualifying examination with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/SEBC category candidates) for admission in 1st year of MCA. (2) Students have also appeared in the JEE main examination. (3) Candidate shall passed qualifying examination in the stream Bachelor of Computer Applications or Bachelor of Science (IT) or Bachelor of Science (Computer) with minimum 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/SEBC category candidates) for lateral entry admission (direct in 2nd Year). (3) Students should have passed with minimum 45% marks (40 % for SC/ST/SEBC candidates) in physics, chemistry and mathematics (in theory and/or theory and practical both). CIVIL ENGINEERING Civil engineering is the mother of all engineering branches and deals with design and construction of Roads, Buildings, Dams etc. Civil department has full fledged laboratories, highly qualified faculty, advanced equipments, testing machines and professional softwares. The current intake in MCA is 120. MCA is a 3 years (six semesters) and 2 years (lateral entry, 4 semesters) full time course. Admission to this course will be done through entrance test CMAT which is conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) every year as well as NON-CMAT student can apply for this course. MCA is a Masters degree, which has a very broad theoretical base in Computer Science; it gives tremendous flexibility and adaptability to work with different Computer Technologies.
