Ischgl lies in the Paznaun valley just 1 hour 20 minutes from Innsbruck, at an altitude of 1400m. With 235 km of slopes and more than 40
top modern lifts, the resort is one of the largest ski areas in the Alps. With 90% of the skiing between 2000m and 2872m this snow-sure
resort has guaranteed skiing from the end of November to the beginning of May. This atmospheric compact resort dates back to the 10th
Century and, dotted amongst the up market chalets and hotels you’ll find cows spending their winter in original farming chalets. The centre
of the village is pedestrianised and a walkway has been blasted through part of the mountain to provide visitors with easy access to the
lifts, bars and shops. The resort is an intriguing mix of old-fashioned Kitzbühel luxury with many top-class hotels and St Anton-style aprèsski with excellent clubbing and shopping. It is full of character and with the ski slopes coming down directly into the centre of the resort the
après-ski kicks off in the early afternoon. Ischgl is the stage for the international ski and party scene complete with a Pascha nightclub and
the opening and closing of the season is always celebrated with a pop concert with major stars.

Austrian banks will fund up to 60% of the purchase price and can usually lend up to a period of 25 years. Variable interest rates are
currently at around 3%, although it is possible to have 1-year or 5-year fixed rate mortgages too.
If you are taking a mortgage the fees involved add up to approx 4% of the value of the loan you will be taking. These comprise a bank set

Purchase Costs
The purchase costs are calculated from the gross purchase price. The Purchaser will be required to pay the notary fees after the contract
of sale has been signed and the notary has sent off all the papers to obtain the foreigner purchase permit. Fees are calculated as follows
