WHEREAS, Edison resident Heather O'Neil, is the author of several books on foster care, child advocacy and the creator of Foster Children's Day; and WHEREAS, In her quest to bring attention to the needs of foster children, Heather reached out to local businesses and WCTC to ask for support in this important endeavor; and WHEREAS, In response to Heather's request, several community businesses, organizations and prominent individuals have offered their goods and services in support of foster children; and WHEREAS, The Division of Youth and Family Services, Franko's Pizza, Designer Lighting and Fan Center, Raspberry Beret, Eddy Cologna, Haven, 4~All Driving School, Safety First Driving School, Tastee Subs, Nancy Schultz, Middlesex Publications, Bell Drugs Pharmacy, Lucinda Florio, Joao Cowperthwaite, Foster Adoptive Family Services and Kearney Federal Savings have all generously given of their time and talents and products; and WHEREAS, Bert Baron, WCTC Program Director, Brand Manager and Midday Host of New Jersey Today, so graciously agreed to host today's program in the hopes of gaining publicity for this worthy cause; and WHEREAS, With the support of \NCTC Radio Station and Producer of New Jersey Today Show, Ann McGlynn, Heather O'Neil is a step closer to realizing her life dream of getting national recognition for Foster Children's Day; and WHEREAS, Without the assistance and sponsorship of the aforementioned this would not be possible; NOW, THEREFORE, I Antonia Ricigliano, MAYOR OF EDISON, NEW JERSEY, do hereby recognize WCTCRADIO BERT BARON & ANNE McGLYNN along with the generous support the above individuals and businesses and encourage all residents to honor them or their commitment, and dedication in helping to highlight this important issue, thereby enhancing the quality of life of foster children; and IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of Edison to be affixed, on this SIXTH day of DECEMBER in the Year Two Thousand Eleven.
