FUTURE OF EVMWD’S SOCIAL MEDIA
Staff will be returning to the board with an updated Social Media Strategic Plan that takes these results into
consideration. Efforts this year have been focused on increasing Facebook presence. While this will continue to be
a priority, staff plans to develop an Instagram with a specific interest, such as highlighting sewer and wastewater
services. The future of EVMWD social media will also include working with the Storm on mutual outreach as well
as continuing to increase followers, engagement, and overall impressions within the community.
