WHITE BURGUNDIES
Domaine Etienne Sauzet
This flagship of Puligny-Montrachet, created in the early part of the twentieth
century, today covers 9 hectares. On the death of Etienne Sauzet his daughter
Jeanine and her husband Gérard Boudot took responsibility for the domain which
they still manage today.
Its incredible terroirs and the outstanding winemaking skills of Gérard Boudot
make Domaine Etienne Sauzet one of the absolute references amongst white
Burgundies. The wines offer immense purity of expression in a magnificent

Domaine des Croix
Domaine des Croix was born from the acquisition in 2005 of Domaine Duchet
and some former vines of Domaine Belland at Aloxe by American investors. But
it is David Croix, who is also the winemaker at Domaine Camille Giroud, who has
been entrusted with managing this small domain where he produces wines of
sincerity and finesse.

Domaine Comte Liger-Belair
Louis-Michel Liger-Belair forms part of the generation of young, talented
winemakers who favour finesse and elegance over power. La Romanée, the
jewel of the domain within whose boundaries it lies exclusively, is the smallest
appellation d’origine contrôlée in France (8400 m2). In the prolongation of
Romanée-Conti, this fabulous terroir has been recovered in its entirety by the
Liger-Belair family, who spare no effort to take it to the highest level.

Devotees of Meursaults that are pure, upright and mineral have long been
followers of this domain. Jean-Marc Roulot is incontestably one of the most
skilful winemakers of the appellation, with a unique style that is revered for the
brilliant purity of its wines and their ability to age gracefully. They are matured on
lees for one year in barrel and six months in vat using only wild yeasts. Alas,
demand is such that it has become almost impossible for the domain to accept
any new customers.

Domaine François Raveneau
At a time when the vineyards of Chablis were being submerged by technology,
the Raveneau brothers, along with the Dauvissat family, were alone in remaining
faithful to hand picking, to barrel ageing, to limited yields and full grape maturity.
Their wines remain constant in their mineral expression of terroir and honey
notes emanating from optimum maturity, given a final polish by oak ageing. A
unique style that has brought them wide international acclaim.

The whites are perhaps even more dazzling than the reds, with the low yields
giving them an absolutely unique texture and phenomenal length. As one might

100 000 bottles are produced each year from La Tâche (6.5 ha), Richebourg
(3.51 ha), Grands-Echezeaux (3.52), Echezeaux (4.6 ha), Montrachet (only

Romanée-Conti (1,58 ha) which together comprise the Domaine de la RomanéeConti.
The wines of Romanée-Conti are only offered for sale after a period of three
years, and no effort is spared to ensure that these wines will age to perfection.
Henry-Frédéric Roch, who manages the estate with Aubert de Villaine, has used

No great wine without good grapes. That's why I give great care to work the soil.
My vines are conducted in organic farming since 1999.
Proud of the heritage passed on to me my ancestors, I like to keep a healthy soil,
capable of giving its multiple traits to each of my wines.
My wine wants to be the true reflection of the terroir or addition of yeast, or
reverse osmosis, or too technical interventions or too much wood that denatures
the wine.
I like the finesse and elegance, Chardonnay Pinot aging ... which pinote ... and
pleasure above all!

Domaine Hudelot-Baillet is a true Chambolle-Musigny producer with cellars in the
town as well as holdings entirely within the appellation. The domaine was created
in 1981 by Joël Hudelot (inherited largely from his father Paul) and his wife

Dominique Leguen, who had been working with him at the domaine since 1998.
The viticultural philosophy is basically organic though the domaine is not
technically certified. There are no insecticides used and sexual confusion is
employed instead to combat problematic bugs. The harvest is performed
manually with sorting work done in the vineyards and again at the cuverie if

At Gevrey-Chambertin, the Dugat-Py are practically an institution. Perpetuating
the family tradition Bernard Dugat-Py embarked on his first vintage in 1975, and
created the Domaine Bernard Dugat-Py in 1994 (combining his name with his
wife’s maiden name, Py). Working closely with his wife and his son he forms part
of the elite of the Côte d’Or, with vineyards that are some of the most beautifully
tended in all of Burgundy. These old vines originating from their own root stock
(massal selection) confer a unique flavour on the grapes. Made with a minimum
of intervention, using a high proportion of whole clusters, they give deeply
coloured, powerful wines that carry the imprint of the terroir. Slow to develop,
they only reveal their full splendour after several years ageing.

includes 18 different appellation situated principally in the Côte de Nuits on the
most prestigious terroirs.

Domaine Christophe Perrot-Minot
The Domaines Perrot-Minot are proprietors of an impressive patrimony of
Villages, Premier Crus and old vine Grand Crus, completed by some grape
purchasing, in, amongst others, Chambertin and Chambertin-Clos de Bèze. A
perfectionist, Christophe Perrot-Minot produces powerful, refined wines that give
natural expression to the terroir. From very old vines such as those from La
Richemone and La Combe d’Orveau he has created the cuvee Ultra,
quintessence of the terroir.

Domaine des Perdrix
In 1996 when the Devillard family took over Domaine des Perdrix it was still
relatively unknown, allowing Robert Parker to state that even in the grand terroirs
of the Côte de Nuits it was still possible to uncover great quality. The excellence
of its terroirs, meticulous work in the vineyards and a rigorous approach to
winemaking and maturing have gained Domaine des Perdrix a well-deserved
reputation.

Domaine Jean-Yves Bizot
Abandoning geology, his first passion, Jean-Yves Bizot’s sense of adventure and
creative spirit led him to take up the reins of this (tiny) family domain in 1994.
"More down to earth, more sedentary, more modest..." Though not easy to
coax the best from this miniscule vineyard. His saving grace? Parents who were
not winegrowers and an education which sidestepped the classic oeno-viticultural
cursus. “Free of all tutelage in viticultural techniques ... » smiles Jean-Yves.

Domaine Rossignol Trapet
The splitting up in 1990 of the original Domaine Trapet vineyard gave birth to
Domaine Rossignol-Trapet on the one hand and Domaine Jean Trapet on the
other . Less well-known than their cousin Jean-Louis Trapet, the Rossignol
brothers - Nicolas and his younger brother David - have always placed the
greatest importance on the way the vineyard is run. They first adopted
biodynamics in 1997, with the conversion of the entire domain in 2004.
From the simplest Gevrey-Chambertin to the greatest Grand Crus, Nicolas and
David make remarkable wines that are full and incisive with, at the zenith, an
amazingly accomplished Chambertin.

Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat
has extensive vineyard holdings based around the Noëllat heartland of VosneRomanée and covering all the villages from Nuits St Georges to Chambolle-Musigny.
Charles Hudelot arrived at the domaine to take over from his grandfather Alain in 2008,
assisted also by Vincent Munier who has been working there since 2005. There is no
intention to deviate from the previous style of fine, fragrant wines however.
Small changes include the purchase of a new destemmer which sends the grapes into
the fermentation vats uncrushed. The vineyards continue to be run according to lutte
raisonnée though Charles is open to an organic approach in the future. New oak remains
unobtrusive, with 20% for the village wines and up to 50-60% for the grands crus wines.

Domaine Denis Mortet
Domaine Denis Mortet raised to a rare level of expression a style of wine which
became the symbol of modern winemaking in Burgundy. Exceptional grape
maturity, immediately engaging floral and fruity aromas amplified by finely judged
oak ageing, and textures of phenomenal precision and plenitude. Arnaud Mortet
continues the work of his father whilst honing extractions and adjusting maturing
to produce wines that are less demonstrative but without doubt infinitely more
subtle.

loves his region, respects his terroir and cossets his vines. He gives voice to the
terroir in perfect harmony with nature, and works according to the lunar cycle.
The results lives up to all expectations: wines of immense purity, without frills but
with enormous charm and finesse.

CHAMPAGNES
Domaine Bérèche & Son
Vincent and Raphaël Bérèche propose an exceptional range of champagnes with
a distinct and easily identifiable character.
They are the fruit of reflexion and care in the vineyards where the use of
pesticides is proscribed. Fermentation takes place naturally and malolactic
fermentation is not deliberately sought, allowing a faithful expression of the
champagne terroir.
Campania rosé expresses the essence of great Pinot Noir. Consummately
focused black cherry and blood orange. Full, complex and refined. Just
magnificent.

are all of consistently excellent quality.
Fresh and elegant, often generous, they are always perfect for aperitif.

Pierre and Sophie Larmandier Bernier cultivate 15 hectares using biodynamic
methods in the Côte des Blancs (Premier Crus Vertus, Grand Cru Cramant,
Chouilly, Oger, and Avize).
Chardonnay shines in this vineyard where these old vines are cultivated with
respect for the terroir. The soil is laboured and the yields moderate.
