Forum for Roma employment
Forum for Roma employment was held in Novi Sad on November 10th. It was 50
participants from Vojvodina, Sabac, Valjevo. The goal of Forum was informed
Roma community about different opportunities and models for employment.
Two Roma women enterpreneurs from South Serbia, Vranje region, Dragica
Mihajlovic and Nargiza Alisanovic presented their own business, supported by
EU project implemented through Business Incubator Center Vranje. One Roma
enterpreneur from Vojvodina as well presented his business. Forum open
possibility for Roma from Vojvodina and relevant stakeholders to discuss with
Roma from South Serbia about their experience and new opportunities for Roma
community.

Forum for Roma employment
Business forum was held in Kragujevac in the local community Palilule. This activity is
aimed to present the realized initiatives in the field of employment of Roma in the
territories, of southern Serbia, Central Serbia and Vojvodina as examples of good
practice, as well to encourage the discussion to initiate new ideas in the field
mentioned.
Business forum was held on February 13, starting at 12 h. The total number of
participants is 34. The Forum discussed by Jelena Urosevic, senior Counsultant of PGF
Team South Serbia, Bozidar Nikolic, national coordinator of PGF team Serbia, Bojana
Vucetic, Advisor of National Employment Service - Kragujevac and Edis Durgutovic,
Deputy the Mayor of Kragujevac.

 Training for junior consultants
Training for junior consultants about writing EU project was
organized for PGF junior consultans with main goal to
increase their own capacities in preparation, writing and
implementing EU projects. Senior consultants lead each
junior consultant through process of training.
Training for Roma and Albanian NGOs
Trening for Roma and Albanian NGOs as possible to register a
public media in minority languages and hence enabling
organizations to apply for the funds that are available to the
media. This is especially important for Roma NGO because there is
no Roma media, or very slightly.

Supplementay grant is planned for 2 projects
Roma women employment, which includes training for entrepreneurship 10
Roma women, of which two will get subgranting of $ 5,000 for start-up
businesses and the project of the Coalition for Transparency south Serbia,
which is related to the publications and 2 training for Roma politicians.
Total requested supplementary for Roma women in employment is 22,000
$, Applicant's Business Incubator Center, and $ 12,000 for the project of the
Coalition for Transparency of South Serbia.

Exit strategy
III Phase of PGF project foreseen by the end of 2016
2017 registers the NGOs PGF of South Serbia, which will continue to
provide support for Roma and other NGOs organizations, local
governments, institutions and organizations engaged in improvement of
the position of the Roma community, through consulting and mentoring
support, which will for Roma NGOs be completely free.
PGF South Serbia will continue to be greatest support to Roma community,
with special focus on EU projects which concern of employment and selfemployment with special attention to Roma women, young Roma and
Roma returnees and internally displaced persons.
