Declamation Contest 2016
From the Bursar's Desk…
Dear Parents, Thank you for your cooperation during this very challenging
term. Your children's invoices for next
term, were sent home in the children's
bags last week, Friday 18th March
2016. You should also have received an
electronic copy of the invoice by e-mail
this week. From 6th of April 2016 the
Bursary Team will be available in School
between 9.00 am and 1 p.m. to issue
your receipts for fees paid and issue a
newly introduced Clearance Tag for
Pupils whose fees have been paid for the
term. Please bring the Tags along at
drop-off. Wishing you all a Very Happy
Easter holiday.
With a theme of Technology in the Twenty First Century,
our Upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 pupils made some
thought provoking speeches at LPS’s recent 2016
Declamation Contest.
Well done to everyone for taking part and to the pupils
pictured below who were placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each of their
year groups.

JN Butterfly Hunt
Junior Nursery children took to the
outdoors last week, while our older
children were busy sitting exams. There
was some careful gardening and a
special butterfly hunt in the garden.
Curriculum Communication …
New for the Trinity Term and beyond at LPS is the
launch of Curriculum Communication Meetings at
the start of each term, designed for parents who would
like to find out more about what their children will be
learning in each subject. Teachers will all be located in
their classrooms between 3pm-4pm on Wednesday
and Thursday of the first week to talk to parents,
expanding on the Curriculum Jigsaws which were sent
home last week in the Trinity Term Information Pack.
