The standard was exceptionally high with children producing some very professional presentations. Well done everyone! LPS 2016 – Easter Bonnet Parade We made many more memories this week for the LPS photo album… Congratulations to pupils and parents for producing such imaginative hats and caps. First Place – Year 4 Second Place – Year 6 2016 Singing Festival Congratulations to Year 4 who were awarded the 2016 Music Cup at this week’s Singing Festival. In a strongly contested competition Year 6 were narrowly beaten into second place. Well done to all our Year Groups! There was a second chance to hear Year 4’s beautiful versions of Everybody and Let’s Be Grateful during the Easter Parade this morning. Time & Personal Management We celebrated pupils who have excelled in Personal Time Management in our end of term Assembly. There was some careful gardening and a special butterfly hunt in the garden. Curriculum Communication … New for the Trinity Term and beyond at LPS is the launch of Curriculum Communication Meetings at the start of each term, designed for parents who would like to find out more about what their children will be learning in each subject. Teachers will all be located in their classrooms between 3pm-4pm on Wednesday and Thursday of the first week to talk to parents, expanding on the Curriculum Jigsaws which were sent home last week in the Trinity Term Information Pack.
