Within these pages you’ll find all you need to know about the 29th annual Communications Week.
Comm Week, presented by Mercedes Benz, is an event designed to heighten the awareness of the College
of Communications. Throughout the week, visiting professionals from the many industries within
communications will host seminars on campus. Because the events are held in the Titan Student Union, all
students are welcome to attend any session to learn and network.
This weeklong event is planned by a student taskforce enrolled in Comm 497, which provides a
hands-on approach to learning that goes beyond the textbook.
The class is divided into four different committees: Executive, Communications, Hospitality, and
Scheduling and Logistics. The Executive Committee consists of four members in charge of overseeing the
production of the event and the taskforce. The Communications Committee is responsible for creating the
basic elements involved with public relations. The Hospitality Committee is in charge of the presentation of
the look and feel during the event. Last, but not least, the Scheduling and Logistics Committee has the
responsibility of organizing all aspects of the schedule. For
more information and a schedule of events, visit the Comm
Week website.
