Welcome Back Mark Twain Families and Staff
Mark Twain had a busy summer getting
ready to welcome back our students for
another amazing school year.
This summer our school received new carpet and tile in many areas. We welcomed a
new administrator, and new teachers and
staff that are ready to help our students on
their journey to become lifelong learners.

A Note From the Principal
To Our Mark Twain Families:
It is with great excitement that I welcome
you, your student(s) and
family to the 2016-2017
school year at Mark
Twain.
As you walk our halls
and visit our classrooms, you will discover
a school that is both culturally and linguistically diverse. There are over 35 languages
that are spoken at Mark Twain and three
quarters of our students live in a household where a language other than English
is spoken. At Mark Twain we celebrate
and draw creativity from our diversity.
At Mark Twain we also recognize the importance that families play in the success
of the children we educate. Our belief is
that the success of Mark Twain lies in the
collaborative efforts we forge with parents.
We look forward to partnering with family
members to ensure that we are providing
our students with every opportunity they
need to be successful. We look forward
and encourage your support and participation in any way possible.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if I
may be of any assistance. We are going to
have an amazing year at Mark Twain.

Procedures
A Nuestras Familias de
Mark Twain,
estamos dando a nuestros estudiantes
cada oportunidad que necesitan para tener éxito. Nosotros deseamos su apoyo y
participación en cualquier manera posible.
Por favor contáctenme si podría ayudarles
con cualquier cosa. Nosotros tendremos
un año excelente a Mark Twain.
Su compañero en la educación,
Lewis Roberts
Parents, we want to thank you so much for your

that time.

Breakfast is served between 8:15a.m. and


Students that are car riders need to be dropped
off and picked up in the car loop, please refrain from parking in the lot and having them
walk across the active car lane.

If you plan on walking up to get your child
they will be considered a walker and that
pickup area is by Door 7 (across from Sherry
Lane)
