The Model A group toured to Gammons' Gulch which is
an old western town and movie set, northeast of Benson,
and built over 39 years by Jay Gammons. Many western
movies have been filmed there. We had a great tour of
the town hosted by very entertaining Jay Gammons. 15
Model A's started out and 12 made it there and back safely. 37 members and guests attended. Everyone enjoyed
the town and the entertainment. We had lunch at the
Apple Farm restaurant in Benson where we enjoyed great
food and fellowship. We encourage you to look them up
when in Benson. All got home safe and sound and a
good time was had by all.
We appreciate all the attendees. It was noted by some of
the newcomers that we are a very friendly and welcoming
club which is a great compliment.
Respectfully submitted, Ron Edwards

His face was scarred and old,
He stood before the man of fate,

Joe Findysz will host the main course and the third Sunday is the Model

invite the T Club to participate. Many of our members are also Model T
members. Ray and Sandy Feierstein will host the appetizers/salads. Joe
will ask if a member of the T club would like to host the dessert stop.
Other:
Overheard at Dillinger Days: Comments were overheard how friendly our
club is to those with questions about our cars. Similar comments were
also heard about the outing.
Is MAFCA membership required? MAFCA insurance covers events for
current MAFCA members and also provides the Restorer magazine to
members. The governing board must be MAFCA members. Unless the
chapter membership requires MAFCA membership, it is strongly recommended but it is not a requirement to join MAFCA.
International Model A Day is 9/10/11.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
