It is track driven n, thus decreeasing the damage created to tthe sports su urface. The pipes are held and d fed automaatically into tthe trench, o once the trench has been excavated. TThe excess m material is eitherr spread adjaacent to the ttrench, or it can be placed in nto a trailer vvia a conveyo or belt. This is known as the sports ground kit,, and is norm mally used on n existing sports surffaces, where minimal imp pact is wante ed to the onal tractor and stone caart drives pllaying surfacce. An additio alongside tthe trencherr and as the eexcavated m material is removed, and the new pip ped laid, the new stone iss fed into a h hopper on th he rear of thee trencher an nd back fills tthe pipe. The Masstenbroek Trrencher is gu uided by laser and driven by one ttrained operaative. This alllows for accurate and preccise levels to o be achieved d at a constaant rate.
