Harmony Day Getting Along means working well with teachers and classmates, resolving disagreements peacefully, following the rules of the classroom and making positive contributions to school, home and the community including protecting the rights of others and looking after the environment. Dance Reminder Principal’s Pen Enrichment Day LMHS 10/4 Easter Hat Parade Today we celebrated Harmony Day and Grandparents Day. Harmony Day is a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home – from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world. By participating in Harmony Day activities, we can learn and understand how all Australians from diverse backgrounds equally belong to this nation and enrich it. We had a wonderful time celebrating with our grandparents and friends, the children enjoyed making our Harmony Hand Tree, please come and see it in our foyer. I’m sure the grandparents enjoyed our singing today and reminded them of when they were young. Congratulations to all our students who showed the true spirit of the day ‘that everyone belongs’. A big thankyou to all the staff for your hard work today, a special thank you to Mrs Geres and Ms Arbolino for your planning and Kerry from OOSH for helping with morning tea. 11/4 Last Day of Term 1 Annual P&C AGM IN THIS ISSUE DATES TO REMEMBER 20/3 Harmony Day & Grandparents Day 27/3 Cross Country 11/4 Movie Day Congratulations to Kristy Branch who, after our Annual P&C AGM, remains at the helm of our wonderful P&C crew as President.
