How is this possible? Put simply, by making
normal diesel into a premium product with
the Super Diesel additive. By increasing
the cetane number we firstly improve the
combustibility of the diesel. Secondly, the
cleaning additives that are also included
keep the jet needles of the injectors and the
combustion chambers clean. This allows
even existing deposits to be broken down.
Particularly since normal diesel has also had
a portion of biodiesel added to it, engines
have increasingly had problems with coked
or defective injectors.

SUCCESS STORY
Original text of the customer letter of 17/03/2016:
Dear Mr Stahl,
Today I would like to share my experience with you regarding your Super
Diesel Additive. After having used your LM oils to our fullest satisfaction,
the step to using your additives was our next successful advancement.
Admittedly we were very anxious to see what advantages use of these
additives would provide. But let me tell you, it was a complete success!
We tested the product in stationary Volvo truck engines in our combined
heating and power station. This allowed us to test the additives under
absolutely realistic conditions. There were no external influences or factors
whatsoever such as wind, rain, topography or human error to influence
the results.
Sometimes these engines run 24 hours at a stretch at maximum load.
We were able to reduce the fuel consumption per hour from approx.
75 liters to approx. 72 liters per hour. I ascribe the savings or 2-3 liters per
hour to the use of additives. This amounts to a savings of approx. 72 liters
per day! Fantastic - we save nearly 2,160 liters of fuel per month from this
alone. Good for our pocketbook and good for the environment.

the rather expensive injectors every year. Now that we have been using
Super Diesel Additive for two years, we have no longer had any damage to
or malfunctions with the expensive injectors. Previously the injectors were
frequently a weak point and cause of failure.

operation on tour all across

has since grown to 18 vehicles.
Starting with 7.5 tonne trucks

Based on these results we are also using the additive for our truck fleet
with great saving potential. Our truck drivers emphasize that the engines
run smoother with a higher torque and a lower consumption.
In summary we are completely enthusiastic.

This is how Super Diesel additive works
LUBRICATES
The injection pumps and injectors in state-of-the-art
engines with their high system pressures and tight
fitting tolerances are lubricated only by the diesel fuel.
Sulfur-free or contaminated diesel fuels cannot always
ensure the required lubrication. The effective
combination of lubrication improvers in LIQUI MOLY
Super Diesel Additive optimize the lubricating
characteristics of the fuel thus protecting the sensitive
components in the fuel system.
INCREASES CETAN NUMBER
Low Cetan numbers make it difficult to start the engine
and reduce fuel economy as well as comfort due to
rough engine operation. LIQUI MOLY Super Diesel
Additive contains ingredients to increase the Cetan
number, facilitating combustion of the fuel and ensuring
easy starting, smooth engine operation, better
accelerator response and improved fuel economy.
Every vehicle in the fleet as well as stationary machines
profit from this.

EMERGENCY POWER GENERATORS
CLEANS
During operation with standard fuels, deposits are
formed on the injectors. These have a negative effect on
the function of the injector needle. The consequences
are decreased fuel economy, oil dilution, increased
contamination in the entire engine and higher
emissions. Regular use of LIQUI MOLY Super Diesel
Additive dissolves existing deposits and prevents
new deposits from forming.
PREVENTS CORROSION
Even small quantities of water and other aggressive
contaminants in diesel fuel can damage metallic
components in the fuel system. LIQUI MOLY Super
Diesel Additive forms a molecular protective coating
on the metallic surfaces in the injection system to
effectively prevent corrosion damage.

As the name already says, fuel oil is intended for
combustion in heating systems. On the one hand, it is
not tested for properties as they are required for the
operation of engines, and, on the other hand,
does not have corresponding additives. It therefore
does not always fulfil the requirements of diesel fuels
for modern engines that are defined in EN 590.
When used as fuel this can lead to increased deposits
in the engine, lower efficiency and increased wear due
to insufficient lubrication properties. Thanks to the use
of LIQUI MOLY Super Diesel additive the fuel oil has
additives added to it in such a way that it is adapted
to use in combustion engines and the disadvantages
that come with the use of fuel oil are strongly reduced.
The customs legislation for the operation of combustion
engines with fuel oil are to be strictly adhered to.

Cecauto, ha desarrollado un equipo de alta tecnología que hace algo más que aclarar y
rellenar: el Gear Tronic.

Con Gear Tronic de LIQUI MOLY se puede sustituir el aceite para cajas de cambios en su
totalidad ya que antes en el sistema permanecen dos tercios del aceite viejo y las impurezas.
Y es muy versátil por sus múltiples opciones de conexión, ya que se puede acceder de tres
modos: mediante el tubo guía de la varilla de medición, las conexiones de tubos flexibles en
el radiador del aceite para cajas de cambios o directamente en la caja de cambios. A
diferencia de lo que ocurre con los aceites de motor, el aceite para cajas de cambios no se
puede evacuar y seguidamente rellenar sin más. La sustitución de este aceite es aquí un
proceso dinámico, ya que el volumen de carga debe permanecer constante durante todo el
proceso. De lo contrario, el sistema electrónico del coche indicará error. Por ello Gear Tronic
se encarga de sustituir el aceite. El proceso se controla mediante dos básculas digitales, las
cuales aseguran que se rellene tanto aceite nuevo como aceite viejo se evacue.
Del mismo modo que no existe un solo aceite para cajas de cambios para todos los
vehículos, tampoco existe una conexión universal para el circuito del aceite. Ésta varía según
el vehículo y el modelo. Por esta razón, el taller necesita diferentes adaptadores. LIQUI
MOLY ofrece juegos de adaptadores universales y específicos.
Gracias a Gear Tronic, se puede ofrecer un amplio paquete de servicios para que no sólo se
reponer el aceite en la caja de cambios, sino también limpiarlo. En la primera fase, el

nuevo limpiador de cajas de cambios automáticas Pro-Line extrae las deposiciones de carbón
y el contenido de agua y sedimentos. A continuación, se desmonta el cárter del aceite y, junto
a la carcasa de válvulas, se limpia con Pro-Line, el nuevo limpiador de interiores de cajas de
engranajes. Seguidamente se cambia el filtro y después le sigue la fase más laboriosa: la
sustitución del aceite para cajas de cambios.
