Program Objectives:
With strong emphasis on Turkey’s current business, economic, social and cultural
particularities, the program consists of seminars covering various key topics and
discussions on the latest economic developments in Turkey:

Overview of doing business in Turkey, including an introduction to the
Turkish economy, history and culture

Comprehensive understanding of current Turkish business environment and
its future trends including wide range of topics such as business policy,
corporate governance, legal aspects, strategy, marketing & branding, services
management and cross cultural management

International business outcomes of the new Turkish economic policy paradigm

Discussions on the drivers of economic growth in Turkey and its sustainability

Factors lying behind the transformation of Turkey into one of the major
recipients of FDI in its region

Key Turkish industries analysis: Opportunities and challenges for doing
business in Turkey

Day 6: Thursday – Gallipoli start of 4 days guided tour to Gallipoli, Troy,
Kuşadası, Pamukkale and Ephesus

Transfer from University Campus to Airport
Program Details:
Language of instruction is English.
Credits: 84 contact hours during the program. 66 hours of student workload for
reading and writing assignments before, during and after the program.
Students, who submit a satisfactory written assignment a week after the end of the
program, will be awarded 6 ECTS credits.
Program fee: 1945 USD
Included in the fee:
- Seminars and city tours
- 4 days guided tour to Gallipoli, Troy, Kuşadası, Pamukkale and Ephesus
Transportation by bus and plane. Accommodation for 4 nights,
breakfast&dinner.
- Accommodation at Okan University Residence Halls*
- Breakfast, lunch and welcome and farewell dinners in Istanbul
- Airport transfers
- Digital reading packet
- Transportation during city tours and company visits
- Use of computer labs and wi-fi
*10 nights in 2 person rooms with bathroom.
Not included in the fee:
- Airfare

- Personal expenses
- Dinners in Istanbul (except welcome and farewell dinners)

Students accepted to the program will be informed by e-mail. They will be sent a
letter of invitation upon the payment of fees.
This summer program can be customized for any requested dates with a
minimum number of 12 paid participants.
