GIVE! 2010 AWARDS CEREMONY
To much applause, checks totaling $427,370 were
awarded to the 40 local nonprofits participating
in the 2010 Give! Campaign. Funders
and nonprofits shared stories on why they
participate and how Give! has impacted their
organizations. Indy publisher John Weiss noted
that giving away $427,370 in checks was a good way to
win friends. Beer, wine and appetizers were graciously
provided by Bristol Brewing Company, Buffalo Gals, El
Pomar Foundation and the Independent.
