What We Can Do For You
“D Thompson Chimneys Ltd.” is registered and
certified through the National Association of
Chimney Sweeps (NACS) and follows best practice in
regards to cleaning your flue and protecting you and
your family providing you with a safe and clean
fireplace and flue for use year around.
Remember, your chimney flue is essentially an
exhaust pipe -- expelling poisonous carbon monoxide
gases away from the house. By making sure your
chimney is swept you're preventing chimney fires. The
certificate we issue on completion of sweeping can be
used as proof for guarantees for flue liners. Sweeping
ensures there are no bird nests in the chimney or flue.
We can also fit a variety of different bird guards/
raincaps and cowls to prevent birds nesting and to
stop birds falling down the chimney creating a mess as
they try to escape. Here is a small selection of bird
guards we fit.
