Take a look at what you would be paying in sales tax on your gross commissions if RPAC had not worked to exclude REALTORS from the recently passed sales tax on services. If your GROSS commission this year were: You would pay: $ 10,000 $ 600 $ 20,000 $ 1,200 $ 30,000 $ 1,800 $ 40,000 $ 2,400 $ 50,000 $ 3,000 $ 60,000 $ 3,600 $ 70,000 $ 4,200 The fight to exclude REALTORS is not over. It has been delayed for this year. Without our lobbyists working night and day for us in Lansing and without Legislators who understand the REALTOR position, our dollars are going to be spent on a service tax. Let’s spend them wisely on RPAC so we do not have to spend them on taxes! Consider giving a minimum of $200 toward RPAC as a portion of what you have saved THIS YEAR on a service tax.
