Twenty-ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Vigésimo Noveno Domingo de Tiempo Ordinario
Parking Lot Safety “Commandments”
Prayer of Saint Francis
"Lord, make me an instrument of thy
peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so
much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying to self that we are born to
eternal life."
Observe the Entrance and Exit lanes. Don’t
drive into the “Out” lane or out of the “In”
lane.
Do not speed… even if you are late. Our
parishioners and visitors will appreciate it.
We are a “No Fender Bender Zone.” Take
great care in backing-up. Your car will thank
you for it.
As you would in any parking lot, place Items
of value inside your trunk. Please: no kids or
pets!
Thou shalt not double-park. Love thy fellow
church-goers.
Finally, it all boils down to the Golden Rule:
“Do unto others as you would have them do
unto you.”
Drive home safely.
“Where are the candle stands,”
you’ve asked.
The electric candle stands which
were in position in the church
lobby are being repaired.
After many years of use, a number of
the “candles” were not functioning
properly so both units are getting a
makeover.
