gather your Bid and Table Numbers at Registration. To streamline checkout and avoid standing in long lines at the end of the night, we encourage
you to use our Quick Check Payment method by selecting your payment
type and swiping your credit card using the encrypted credit card machines at registration.
Lighten up by leaving your outer garments at Coat Check, adjacent to
Registration and manned by High School Students from Eisenhower, Davis
and West Valley Interact Clubs.
Strike your best pose in your gala attire to memorialize the evening
when getting your portrait taken by our professional photographers Tavis
& Amy Guild of Memory Montage Photography.

purchases may be made in Cash, Check, Credit Card (VISA, Mastercard or
American Express) or on your Rotary Account.

Live Auction. If you have enrolled in Quick Check, you may gather your

A very special thank you to our amazing
Executive Director Carolyn Flory and assistant Lorna Huck
There may be three co-chairs charged with presenting a fun, exciting and successful Rotary auction, but
Carolyn and Lorna provide the foundation of support for it all. Wisdom gained from experience kept
everyone involved on time and on task. It couldn’t have been done without their extra time and effort.
The Auction Chairs express a hearfelt thank you to both of them.
Through the participation of committed Yakima Rotarians a wonderful Soiree has been created for all our
guests to enjoy. The theme for Yakima Downtown Rotary this year is to “Enjoy Rotary” and we hope
you do just that as we fulfill Rotary’s commitment to our community.

Rimrock Escape
Enjoy three nights (mutually agreed upon)
at the Menke’s cabin at Russell Creek on White
Pass. You can plan on a cozy evening in front
of the river rock fireplace, or spend a relaxing

Cave B By Chopper
Cave B, located on a ledge 900 feet above the
Columbia River, is a must-see destination for wine

the maddening fray and over the ridges in a helicopter on a mutually
agreeable date. You will swoop above the wind machine farm at
Ryegrass, and then suddenly down toward the mighty Columbia, and
be set gently down right next to the Cave B vineyards and buildings. You can then completely relax at a complimentary lunch in the Cave

Raise The Paddle
Yakima Rotary Charities has been a force for good
in this community since 1920, when funds were first
raised to send crippled children to Seattle for special treatments and equipment so they could lead
normal lives. Since then, Rotary Charities grants,
made possible largely by this auction, bought Yakima’s first iron lung
to help polio victims, helped build a hospital in Yetebon, Ethiopia,
aided rural schools in Peru and Mexico, and—just recently— built an
incredible playground at Franklin Park and the Union Gospel Mission,
created a Rotary Reading Room at the Southeast Community Center,
and remodeled the Yakima Valley Hearing & Speech Center. Your gift
tonight will give Rotary Charities the funds to continue its incredible
legacy of Service Above Self to this community we all love. So please
take this opportunity to raise your bid number at one of the following
levels: $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, $1,000, $500, $250, $100.
